it’s kinda hard to say. those stats are lower than my HS ones, but i never applied to SAS for freshman year or fall transfer (under 24 credits, they check HS stats), so i wouldn’t know.

about 2-3 weeks

i believe so. check the admission status page to see which credentials they have received.

I know I haven’t participated in this forum.
But for those who are still waiting for a reply should hear back VERY soon.
I literally sent my application about two weeks ago and already got admitted.

Hello all,

Do i have a chance of getting accepted to any of the 3 campuses? I applied just before the deadline as a transfer with 57 credits from a community college in NJ. My major GPA is a 2.88 my overall GPA is a 2.81. My friend said because Rutgers uses rolling admission i wont have a chance since all the spots are already filled up for the semester, is this true? My major is computer science.

I had a pretty killer essay and i hope that will pull me through…

its a toss up XrutgersX. If you have a good upward trend you’ll probably get into the NB campus.

Wow, I was accepted without sending my hs transcript.

^ how did that happen? i thought that was required :/

oh yeah and btw, im still waiting for an admissions decision…fingers crossed i really hope i get in

I am currently a freshman at a reputable MD school…I expect to have >3.5 GPA this semester. My high school record was great >3.4, lots of good grades in APs but I got a D in Precalc senior year and a C in Chemistry junior year. Other than that I have pretty good ECs and such. I am an English major and want to apply to New Brunswick SAS. What are my chances as a transfer for Fall 2012?

Wow I’m so excited

Nice work Jess OCC. what are you going to major there?

hey jessicaOcc would you mind posting your stats?

its looking like you need at least 3.0 gpa to be granted admission into Rutgers NB according to responses in the thread

Hey guys, I applied to:

Newark - College of Arts and Sciences
Newark - Business School
New Brunswick - School of Arts and Sciences: Admitted

I have a 3.5 gpa and I got admitted to New Brunswick. I am transferring from a CC with a associates in business. Do I have any chances at Newark Business school? (this is where I really wanna go)

Thanks.

I think you will get into newark business school. Why didn’t you apply to RBS in NB?

Hey bottlecap, how long was it between the time you submitted your application and other materials and when you got your acceptance? I’m just wondering since I am planning on submitting my winter session grades (which end a week before the deadline) and am hoping they will get them before making a decision.

3.3 gpa
associates
majoring econ

@Bottlecap - RBS NB doesn’t allow Spring Transfers.

whoops you are right deadhead.

I got my acceptance 2 days after they received all of my credentials. They will start reviewing your app once they receive everything.

I am actually commuting and Rutgers-Newark is closer to me. But thanks hopefully i get it.
