I’m preparing for the next Math 2 test. Any suggestions on books?
@MrAustere Dr. Chungs Is the best
@michelle426 correct, but what I am saying is if the spheres tough at one point without crossing, I dont think they are considered to be intersecting, but instead tangential to one another.
@michelle426 it did say that. Thanks for finding that link. It’s a relief to know I got at least one of the ones I was unsure about right!
@SternBusiness Thanks
@Kylemcgrogan if you checked the link, he was addressing a case in which two different spheres were intersecting. he provided all possible cases. one of them involved a circle, one of them involved an external intersection, and one of them involved an internal intersection at a single point.
look guys, i don’t want to return to this thread, because i basically had a nervous breakdown yesterday over my possible score range. best of luck to everyone! if you for some reason you absolutely need me, then pm me.
guys any chance for 42/50 being 800? please? ughhhhh SHOOT ME NOW
@alpha525 is that your raw score (with penalty deducted if needed)? there have been a couple times in the history of the test where 42 has been an 800. but that’s for only insanely difficult tests. this one was not “difficult”, just a little different. typical cutoffs for 800 range anywhere from 43-45/46. One time, it was 47. It really depends on how well everyone else did.
@alpha525 i feel your pain dude, i’m a rising senior, and if i dont get an 800, i have to retake in october with chem
Bruh I’d be mad if I got anything below 750. Of course I wanted an 800 but I had no freakin time to study for it. Because like 700-740 is like the range where it’s not good enough for top colleges but not bad enough on paper to justify a retake.
@Yakisoba same. If I get anything 770 or below, I will retake.
@michelle426 is 790 okay? i want to major in something very related to this but it seems like non 800 is no bueno
@michelle426 42 is my raw score with all the deductions. i made the most stupid ass errors
did you guys get 10 for the minimum one? and -24 for the first one?
did you guys get 10 for the minimum one? and -24 for the first one?
yes @i2400ezpz
@alpha525 depends, what school are you planning to apply to? also, your grades and course load come into play too.
@i2400ezpz what question was the -24 one? i clearly remember getting the minimum value of 10.
@michelle426 ivies, northwestern, nyu stern lolz. hardest course load, mostly As
