i dont remember the science section much at all....it was just one big blur

someone asked this but for the english portion with "passed, and past" which one was it

i put passed

ok i got that right...and on that same passage was it "hurried or hurry". I put hurry cuz the passage was all in present tense...iono im bad at english

i put hurry as well

I put past.

In that english passage, the verb should be in present tense. Usually, when you read a story, it'll be in past tense.

So, instead of hurried, it's hurry.

Instead of pasted, it's past.

I don't know. I looked at the sentence structures in the other paragraphs, and I found that pattern. I would think that this verb tense would be consistent in a passage.

This guy is correct.

What story was the hurry one in?

Adonalmao: Who is the guy? You can't really tell the gender of people on here. :D

meanvaluetheorem1: I don't remember exactly how it was, but it was about a boy going through this small road and at the end of it, a girl came up to him and said 'I love you.' It was a special moment for him.

? i dont remember having a passage like that...different test form maybe

I think I had Form 62B.

i dont remember the exact context of the sentence but i put passed because past didnt sound right with the way they said it if i remember it correctly......something like "I passed" or "He passed" would be right for that and "past" would be right for something like..."It was past" or something like that

i dont get why it's past...(did the question sound like "i move past" or like "i passed")

yea i think it did...i dont think past would be correct but i could be wrong

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was going to put 'passed' like how I write, but I remember reading on the Real ACT book that you should follow with the writing structure of the passage instead of seeing what sounds to us or our style of writing.

Oh well. I just hope we all get the scores we want. I hope I did good even though I didn't finish the math section by like 3 questions. :(

Edit:

It was a subject like he or I and you had to choose 'past' or 'passed'.

I'm pretty sure the answer is past. Does anyone remember the sentence?

It is past. It was the present tense of the boy went past something else. The whole passage was in present so passed didn't make any sense.

lol i dont remember...depends on whether there is a verb before past. if there is then its correct (like "the river flows past") or ithere isnt ("i passed the signs") or something like that

yea its probably almost impossible to figure that out now lol
