Official Sept. 16 ACT Reflection

for that english one that yall are talking a/b (where he describes the city block he rides his bike down) I think the answer was No Change.

Two more questions.

At the end of the bike passage, it's something like "I near the end of the alley" with near underlined. No change?

And the butterfly passage, there was a sentence about people wanting to attract butterflies with gardens and then the second part of the sentence was underlined and it was asking for the completion that best matches the beginning of the sentence. I picked the one about planting other kinds of plants, but the other choices included going to the store to buy seed packets and reading books about gardening. Anyone else?

ugh...lol and i saw the same thing on one practice test too

i think it was no change for your first answer, and i think i put the one about buying seed packets...seemed right at the time lol, but now im second guessing all of my answers

i think i picked the one where it had milkweed and all that crap

Since the beginning of the sentence was a/b vegetation, I put the answer about people planting the various types of plants (had several examples).

Blah: me too

i also picked the milkweed one...it provided more support than just the seeds

I think I put the magazine one because I thought it was talking about how people were trying to attract butterflies to their gardens so I thought they would read magazines for gardening techniques.

omg..i put "past by" for the question instead of just "past"
do you guys remember the sentence

Yeah, I put the milkweed one. That one didn't seem to have a clear answer. Any of the choices (except maybe D) could have worked.

I put past... hope it's right.
btw wasn't there a dash after past?
that confused me a bit

On Science, what'd you get for percent of energy output from the sun's core? I put 75% but I couldn't understand the graph - it was crazy and had way too much info.

I think the other options were 100, 40, and something smaller.

I put 100%.

did anyone get 73 for one of the math questions?....can't remember the question though

yeah i think i got 73 for one...

the other science one was definitely 100% energy output, you just follow the line

lol, i put 40%...dont remember why, might have been a guess

Anyone remember the question where the answer was 73?

"the other science one was definitely 100% energy output, you just follow the line"

But how could 100% of the sun's energy come from the core? Aren't the other two layers considered to have energy as well? It just didn't make sense to me.

I got one question as 25% and the other as 100%.
Yeah I didn't understand the graph at first, but then at the last minute I was like "ah ha!"..yeah

for the english passage about the glacial island and its werid plants that eat bugs.. what'd u put for the question that gave some info about another plant and asked if it should be added or not?
I put no... for some reason that I don't remember.
