Thanks ^ @annie2018 pray for my obsession

@135pipe. I thought you were excited about your full ride at A&M. “Hahah thanks my brother goes to tu coming out about 60k in loans. I am rubbing this is his face hahah lol I know it’s mean, even he regrets not applying to texas a&m” Then you were going to collapse with a heart attack if dogs would be running loose on campus. Then you were assured that A&M didn’t allow dogs to run wild and that Reveille was a very nice dog. Now you are terrified again. Maybe college isn’t for you, yet. Or maybe you just want attention.

Yep attention good Job. You figured it out @Beaudreau I am just confused but would like ut because brother goes their plus my parents really don’t want to make two trips to college station then austin.

I don’t want any issues. I am not going to argue over the internet. But please if my posts bother you or you don’t like them please ignore and don’t waste your time insulting me or commenting rude things. Unless you are trying to post to what the thread says then don’t. No one is forcing you to post. If I want attention why post on here you are giving me what I want attention. Thanks anyways anyone still waiting or made plans elsewhere?

@135pipe did you get your full ride in scholarships or grants?

For a&m

Scholarships plus some grants like the pell grant. Regents scholarship and community service scholarship

Not sure if that constitutes as a full ride.

I just checked out the common data set myself, and wow those are some depressing numbers.

For 2013-2014

of Students placed on Waitlist (386)

of Students accepted off of the Waitlist (5)

That’s about a 1.3% acceptance rate, or about 3 times as selective as Harvard RD admission.

Holy ■■■■ thars freaking drepressing

@juanpisv

I got my 5th six week rank. Now 40/595 top 6.7% so hopefully this helps my appeal be overturned. Do I have a chance anybody know. Would I count as auto admission now or?

@135pipe Call an admissions officer, that’s your best bet. You may be automatically admitted, you may not. I hope you’ve made other arrangements, in case UT doesn’t work out. We’re almost in May… Most dorms and orientation sessions are filling up fast.

I got a full ride to Texas a&m. I will call tomorrow thanks.they said they always make available dorms and orientations for appeals students and if wait list students are accepted. Thanks so much

Anyone hear anything new about the wait list?

They should find out maybe before Thursday but definitely after

@135pipe i told you before that the increase does not count as automatic admission to UT. The only one that counts was the rank you got beginning of senior year

Oh. Because someone else said the law in Texas was graduate in the top 7% of your class. I am on track to graduate so I taught moving up would help me.

But I am not sure so???

@135pipe Texas law is not top 7%, it’s top 10%. Top 7% is only UT. I usually only see an appeal approved if it’s a significant jump in your rank, like if you went from 12% to 7% or something like that, or some other significant change in your application.
