Hi, if you don’t get into the first school you applied to and get reconsidered for the school of arts and sciences, how long does it take for the admissions committee to notify you of the decision. Thank you.

D received a virtual reality box in the mail today from Pitt. Huge hit. We haven’t had a chance to visit yet, so it has been glued to her face for 30 minutes. Pitt is #1 option right now.
@1art1science --wow that’s a new one…a virtual reality box?? Do tell!
I still haven’t had a turn! It’ a cardboard box you hook your phone into that allows you to see in 3D. And as you move your head, you follow around different areas of campus. Pitt was one of two “finalist” campuses for D that we didn’t get to visit (Fordham the other). So she loves being able to walk around campus here in SC.

@hailtopitt1787 - even though psmobile changed to accepted on 11/23 and video email received 11/26, the my.pitt still shows completed. Is that normal?
I got the VR box too! Cool marketing they’re doing; I’ve never seen something like that before.

@MedSciBud I got it after my acceptance, shortly after getting my merit scholarship offer. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.
Grateful today – we got a letter saying our son has been awarded a $15,000/yr merit scholarship. He was
accepted to Swanson engineering.
