oh dang. congrats nyc640! i’m dying to find out. x-x.
good luck everyone! i’m really nervous. i’m anticipate receiving some sort of letter tomorrow.

OMG! They’re OUT!
I hope I get my decision… SOON.

And, Congratulations NYC640. (:

I can’t believe they are out already!! Aghhh why must I be at boarding school across the country? I want to knowww!
Good luck to everyone, and congratulations NYC640!

I am SO nervous. I really hope it comes today, even if it is a rejection. Good luck guys, I look forward to meeting you at Pomona (hopefully)!

US Postal Service said that even if it was mailed out earliest possible yesterday, it’d still take until Monday for a Priority Mail envelope to arrive where I am, and longer for East Coast. Slightly reassured but still worried.

I was deferred (I live in OK). It blows, but I’ll try to get in RD!

I didn’t know it was possible to get deferred in ED…it seems kind of weird especially in ED2 cause it’s only gonna be another month and a half. good luck analysis! I’ll let you guys know as soon as I see my letter…I’m so nervous, i wish I could go on soma holiday until it comes!

I had two dreams that I got rejected I’m kind of not looking forward to it now.

It would be pretty nice though to get an acceptance letter on Valentine’s Day.

LMAO I’m not the only one with admissions nightmares!! XD

Never before have I wanted it to be Monday…
eeeeeeeeeeeep

Lol, tomorrow is the day, hopefully.
Mail arrives at my house in the EVENING. I have to wait in agony all day tomorrow. :)

lol the most depressing part is that if it isnt at your house by tuesday chances are you got the “first class” rejection letter, but you still have to wait to be sure

LOL. I was telling my mom that and she said the exact same thing: “That’s so depressing!”
Also, I read that they mailed the rejection letters in small envelopes! haha.

Hey Analysis, my CC fellow essay-reading buddy, I’m really sorry to about your deferral. Think of it this way though, you were still too good to be out right rejected.

I know it must suck (I’m expecting one myself, or worse), but I’m glad to see you’ve kept your chin up and are already looking forward to RD. Like most Pomona students I’ve met, you seem to have a great attitude and I hope for the best for you come RD :)

Yeah, i could be wrong but I don’t think Pomona is like many other top schools when it comes to deferrals. They don’t hand them out unless you really deserve them. good luck in the rd round

The requirements for attending Pomona:
Being a nice, supportive, and optimistic person.

No doubt about it.

Don’t lose hope! I was deferred in EDII and I am now basking in the SoCal sun at Pomona :)

Aww thanks guys, I really appreciate it :)

I was deferred too, Analysis.

Balleranddancer, I read last year’s threads where you were deferred and then accepted. It’s so nice of you to check back here one year later to lend support.
