Princeton University Class of 2022 SCEA Applicants Thread

Decision date/time announced! The 13th after 3 p.m. ET.

Ah we’ll know our fates by then :-S Good luck to everyone!

When Princeton says “We allow applicants to use the score choice feature of both the SAT and ACT, but we encourage the submission of all test scores.” does that mean they prefer I don’t use score choice?

Is it too late to submit a supporting document? I just got an A on my last bio test, and because I am an intended bio major, I think it could really help. Also, will Princeton accept Dec ACT scores (this SAT) for SCEA? Thanks!

@university2022 Since decisions are coming out next Wednesday and the Dec ACT is this Saturday, I doubt the results will arrive in time.

@university2022 Considering that the December ACT score release is after SCEA decisions are released, no. You could maybe add supplemental documents now, but don’t expect them to go through them. They’ve probably made the majority of decisions by now.

@appletree456789 where did you get this info?

I was emailed.

But we have proven at least a small correlation between quarter grade requests and acceptances, right?

@appletree456789 no, but mine were requested and my counselor didnt send them

@appletree456789 Yes. Based on past threads, there is a correlation. This year we can confirm whether this is true or not :slight_smile:

Cmon guys! A bio exam! I was joking… try to lighten up by Wednesday!

the nerves are eating me at this point

@HelloThereHola hey, I also got my quarter grades requested! do you have links to back this up?

@university2022 lol i did think it was funny :))

Well more students could have been asked for quarter grades, I just assume that those who were and then got rejected, or deferred then rejected, didn’t want to share it on a public forum, which is why we could have a false positive for the request and correlation.

@university2022 LOL I THOUGHT U WERE SERIOUS :))

From the greater NYC area, want to study for a certificate in either Finance or AI/Stats. Little research that has to do with ORFE, but I do have some experience with engineering in a lab. Also do a lot of robotics hands-on stuff on my own so there’s that. @Sciencegirlfromthewest

@floraha Same!!

Decisions are probably made by now, right? Also does anyone have any ideas on how to de-stress, other than Netflix bingeing to suppress reality?
