Has anyone got a rejection letter yet??
@dubsup congratulations yay!!! I was rooting for you
@Akeating Thanks, I really appreciate it! Hopefully I get a letter soon.
If it helps, no one who was accepted in the first batches has been able to register either, since the first orientation isn’t until Tuesday. Apparently UW sets aside spots for incoming transfer students in some classes.
Congrats btw!!! I was rooting for you too. I don’t get why UW had to take 20 years sending out this last batch! X(
@snailshellz do you think this is the last week of acceptances :((
@snailshellz You guys are the best! thanks for rooting for me. I checked two classes I need, one was almost full and one was full. But we’ll see!
@dubsup omg congrats!!! That’s great to hear!
Would you mind sharing your stats with us?
@liment congrats for your transcript loading!!! That’s exciting! Meanwhile I am still waiting… but our stats are pretty similar so hopefully I’m on the same boat as you lol!
@wintransfer2016 I am so over this waiting :((
@dubsup
What classes will you take?
I will take Japanese for the first quarter!
I really hope you guys can get in!
Good luck!
Hey everyone!!! I’ve been following this forum for a while and my transcript loaded with an email from uw about financial aid. Did anyone receive a email form uw?
@ddhwang89 That makes me nervous! I didn’t get an email and I definitely filled out the required FAFSA forms as far as I know.
@wintransfer2016 Thanks a lot, I’m happy to finally join you and @Akeating haha. I’m rooting for you @JP1993 !
@jadey138 I want to take Physics 2, Business Law ( already full), Geology, and statistics. Not all this quarter but just by Fall. Those are the pre req’s I have left.
My stats were like a 3.2ish idk exactly how it transferred and probably like a 3.6ish for the major I applied for. I have my AA and I’m ten credits short of my AB.
The reason I think I got in was because of the AA, had all the recommended classes for the open major I applied for, and personally I believe my personal statement was very strong. I knew that was going to be important with grades on the lower end! I plan on switching my major though, applying to Construction Management in April.
Congrats to everyone who got their admissions materials. I’ve checked at least twice a day for what seems like forever and my transcript finally loaded. It’s almost like disbelief looking at it. They have me as a Junior, Pre-Social Science, in the College of Arts and Sciences. I have a student number. Good luck to anyone still waiting, it can still happen!
I really do hope that the notification period is earlier than the 31st. I’m really confused as to my transcript loaded for UW Tacoma first and then today around 12:55 AM, under the college tab, it changed from “UW Tacoma” to “Arts and Sciences” with my major also being changed. Can somebody explain what this means? :((
Has anyone applied for housing yet? Do we get assigned a dorm after Orientation or …
I am just posting here for reference. My wife just got a rejection letter to transfer for Winter 2016. She has a 3.9 GPA coming from BYU’s Math Department. Her reason for transferring was the she married me while mid-undergrad after doing 4 years humanitarian aid, and I am a grad student at UW with a full-time job in Seattle starting in May.
She is bummed, but SPU has offered her a lot of financial aid and incentives. So, all will be well. The rejection came via mail.
I already finished the prerequ’s of business. Idk what can I take lol
I’m waiting for the email of orientation too. I wonder whether it will be full.
I am on the same boat. My UW bothell transcript loaded so I have no clue how or where to check for UW seattle
What does your unofficial transcript status say in yours? @Seattlefc If my transcript loaded for sure on UW Seattle, I need to register for orientation but I don’t see anything about UW Seattle orientation… not receiving mail from both UW Seattle and Tacoma… not seeing “Congratulations…” This is so frustrating :(( :-/
I just received my letter today (12/12/15) and my transcript loaded 2 days ago (12/10/15). I live like right next to UW so that’s why it came so quickly. My application still does not have the congratulation message. I’m not even gonna bother mailing in my NSEOF; I’ll just turn it in in person. Best of luck to people still waiting. In my letter it says the deadline to turn in NSEOF is 1/1/16 so I’m assuming there will still be more people getting accepted. This was definitely one of the most stressful 3 months I’ve ever had. Hopefully UW can expand on its office of admissions for its large pools of applicants or maybe revise the admission process and make it more efficient.
