Prospective University of Washington, Winter 2016 transfers?

@dubsup I still haven’t received anything yet so I don’t know if I’m accepted or not :frowning: but still happy for you!

@wintransfer2016 Oh! Dang I really really hope you get in, for some reason I thought you were already in, that’s my bad. Just stay positive. What are your stats?

@wintransfer2016 We got this  We have not received our rejection letters so we must still be under review and in consideration

@dubsup thank you! That means a lot to me  my CC GPA is about a 3.42, and my UW GPA is a 3.5 (took classes over the summer). My personal statement was about the transition from graduating CC to a university classroom and how I adapted to it. I expressed my interest in UW’s LSJ program and mentioned my intent to double major in LSJ & sociology and going to law school! Also talked about how I had no idea what I wanted to do in college until after I took more electives and discovered criminal justice, hence the mediocre GPA… And my transcript shows that my grades improved a lotttttt as time went on. Fingers crossed!!!

@JP1993 I agree! It’s not over until then lol! Rooting for ya!!!

it doesnt show anything under status

@Seattlefc What does under status supposed to show?

So my unofficial transcript was updated just few minutes ago (12:03 AM) and I checked the application status for Seattle and was changed to “Congratulations!..” Hopefully I’ll be able to receive the letter sometime this week! Good luck to the rest of you guys.

Hello guys, I currently got accepted in UW Tacoma and Milgard school of Business; however I got denied from Foster because my WSA test score wasn’t high enough, but I got accepted in UW Seattle Campus. Of course I will see adviser soon, but I just can’t wait to ask you guys while I’m waiting for the day to see an adviser at UW Seattle that I don’t know what should I do now? Should I go to Milgard at UWT or go to Seattle without getting in the major school Foster?
I’ve finished my 2yrs degree Association in Business.
Thank you so much for your answers.

Hey everyone so I got my letter of rejection
Dated December 9th
:frowning:
Good luck to those who are still waiting
I had a 3.5 OOS from a 4 year

@JP1993 Damn I’m really really sorry to hear that. I was rooting for you for sure

A friend of mine was out of state student and applied for fall quarter, and took summer classes at a CC after the normal school year at UCLA, so that way he wasn’t an OOS! I don’t know any details about your situation but you should consider that if possible. Good luck

@dubsup Thanks ! I think I’ll just stay at my university and apply for my masters at UW  But, we will see haha

Hey, for those of you who have received a letter of rejection does your unofficial transcript or app have any indication of a rejection? I’m still waiting for anything, and I’m just wondering if I still have hope. The application status still says thanks for applying. Thanks!

Hey guys I just got my letter of acceptance!!!

@wintransfer2016 Did your transcript load or have you been getting the error?

@nicoli I was wondering what happened to you! So it will be UW for sure then and not WWU?

Wow I thought I heard back late, but I guess I was one of the early ones! Congrats to everyone who finally heard back!!

@UWwinter2016 well I took classes over the summer so I had a UW transcript already but I never got the congrats message and my transcript still said “non-matriculated: no longer enrolled” this morning, if that helps!

@wintransfer2016 omg! I was rooting for you cuz you started this forum/discussion haha. Congrats!

@shawksfan
I’m accepted by UW but denied by Foster due to poor WSA. If you want to practice wsa together please contact me!

@snailshellz hi, I am still making the decision - this is very difficult as both have great things I love. I wasn’t expecting to get into UW after all this wait. I’m kind of shocked. I did however put 25 dollars down for the housing application as soon as it would accept my login (once I had my student ID).
