The thing to keep in mind is that they send all* of the packets out at the same time, so don’t worry if others have gotten theirs and you haven’t because it isn’t a reflection of whether or not you got in.

Can’t wait to meet all the new Carls next year! Congrats to those who got in. :)

*Usually they’ll hold one or two an extra day for some reason but even those are usually the result of typos, special circumstances, etc. and not a reflection of whether the applicant got in.

EDIT: The above is for domestic - for internationals, admitted students receive mail via FedEx and Waitlist/deny letters are sent via that country’s regular mail service.

Still waiting in Rochester, MN too. Wellesley and Carleton’s decisions in one day might actually kill me. So if you don’t hear from me tomorrow… :)

For international kids (in Europe), how long do you guys think until I should start to get worried that my letter was sent by regular mail (not FedEx)?

Carleton sent the letters on 19th right? Then IBinLux, 3-4 days is the typical arrival times. If you don’t see a letter on Saturday at the latest, then bad news unfortunately…

And I looked at this website of FedEx, where you can enter your address and Carleton’s address to see the estimate arrival times. I entered today’s date, and the website gave me 25th of March as the arrival date. If you are wondering about Carleton’s postal code it is: 55057

would they have used fedex int’l priority or int’l economy? I’m getting 25th with priority and 29th with economy with shipping date march 21. so, we can assume the package would reach me, in Pakistan, between the 25th and 28th of March?

Saw someone ask Carleton on twitter whether being followed by them was a good sign of an impending acceptance letter. Carleton proceeded by favoriting the tweet.
I would say its looking pretty good for nebraskagal!
