Hey everybody, I still haven’t heard anything. Are you all getting emails? I still have no word, no peep from Reed.
Whoa, you all had to wait so long! I received my email at 5:13 (their time).
Too bad I fell asleep so I couldn’t report & ease some of your worries.
I think I’ll take a position on the list, but will act as if rejected.
Of course I’ll be doing everything in my power to get off that list though 
Edit: was feeling uber optimistic and then someone reminded me the reality of waitlists and preference over full pay students…hope is there, just partially dashed…

I was wait listed and just sent an email with a new Why Reed essay, an analytical paper, and updates on ECs/awards. The wait list FAQ they sent was really helpful!
@epancotti Damn, that was quick. I likely won’t send anything until the weekend (if I decide to accept a place on the list).
waitlisted at 6:10 PST… congrats to everyone accepted; my sympathies to those rejected; and for yall accepting a place on the waitlist, i hope they accept us all! and more importantly i hope that everyone will end up somewhere they are happy, secure, and welcomed 
i’ve only been a lurker on this thread but it has been a delight reading everyone’s thoughts, speculations, and jokes during this stressful time and you are all charming and fantastic regardless of how your college decisions turned out. just rmb that!!

i got waitlisted, So did a friend of mine.
@woteven23 As far as i know. His SATs are 2200+. Straight As. He got into tonnes of other places, e.g. Richmond Scholar, NYU Shanghai etc. He is a gap year student though.
Still haven’t received an email. I suppose that means I was rejected as according to their website, financial aid information was supposed to go up on April 1, and I don’t see anything. I really wish Reed would have emailed everyone, and not just a select few…

Given that I can’t believe that they are sending out emails at 4 or 5 in the morning PST, my email must be messing with me and not posting incoming messages when they are sent. A wait listed email just showed up.
It is very strange that no one here got accepted after the original bunch on Friday.
@robthehero12 if it makes you feel any better, I was accepted Friday and still no financial aid info. Reed Admissions is out of control this year.
