Lol I hope so. This is the only school I’ve applied to so far. I’d rather go out of state, but it would be so much more expensive. I figure I could go to Rutgers, go on vacation the entire winter break and summer and still be paying less than if I went to an out of state school.

Don’t let my grades fool you though my high school was extremely easy. I don’t think anyone in my school ever got over a 2000 on the SAT. My college classes were all easy for the most part with the exception of a few.

LOL your high school grades or SAT stores aren’t good indicators on how well you will do in college. I am sure you will do just fine at Rutgers if you have a 3.9 now.

I can’t wait until I finally get a decision so when I keep getting asked where I’m transferring to I can just say Rutgers instead of having to explain that I’m waiting for a reply.

Bahahah - I just tell everyone I’m going to Rutgers! Law of attraction, right?
It will just be kindaa awkward if I don’t get in…
But Rutgers is much more prestigious/unusual on the West Coast and people always seem impressed, I can’t help it!

Hi, guys, I wasn’t going to transfer to Rutgers at all, but I made a last-minute decision. It was REALLY last-minute. So I sent in my application the 28th of Jan., (paid too) but I still have to send in my credentials. Even if I’m graduating with an associates, do I still have to send in my HS transcript? -_-
Anyway, I’m doing this last-minute, and I hope I get everything in by the 15th… I’m quite worried. I already requested my transcripts from college and high school. Crossing my fingers.

Applying to Rutgers NB from community college.
-Current GPA: 3.8 something something (don’t know the exact number, but it’s 3.8 at least)
-Graduating with a Liberal Arts Associate (I’m really indecisive. Couldn’t choose so just went with Liberal Arts in the end)
-In honor society Phi Theta Kappa in community college at the moment.
-Graduated from high school with a 3.8 something GPA, AP & Honors classes, top 10% of the class thus making me eligible for NJ STARS scholarship (hoping to transfer with that scholarship. They give me about $7k)
-Live in NJ

Uh, yeah, that’s about it.

OH, and another last-minute decision: I want to dorm. Anyone know if I can still call and make changes for that? I said I was going to commute, but never mind. Too much of a hassle.

Purpesawx, you’re definitely in - even if not everything gets in by the 15th you should still get in… you’ll just hear back a little later.
& Yes, all students are required to submit a HS transcripts.

Definitely call Admissions about the dorming thing, I’m sure you can still change since your application isn’t complete yet.

Thank you very much, lexsi! I was really nervous about that. :/

Honestly, I wasn’t much of a ‘Rutgers person’, if you know what I mean. However, Rutgers IS a good school…and they have my major. I’m not too fond of huge campuses, but I must make sacrifices!
How about you? Have you been accepted?

Hey guys, I just checked my application today and I’ve been admitted to the Business school in Newark. Still in process for SAS and NB Business school.
My first choice is still Business school in NB though. Hopefully I can get in.

I applied around november 2010. I think you guys should check yours too if you applied to different school than New Brunswick.

Hello guys I also applied for Rutgers NB SAS for fall 2011.
I’m currently going to a community college with a 3.6 gpa and 50+ credits. I also applied to Camden and they’ve already accepted me so I’m just waiting for NB. The only things that’s holding me back is that I used to go to Penn State but it wasn’t good for me so I left with a 2.5 gpa
Do my chances still look good?

Good chance Lisa, GPA above 3.0 is good. Although you have 2.5 in Penn St, I think they will see that you improving. Good luck and keep each other posted.
