Scholarships

Purdue announced the Beering Scholars in July last year, [Purdue Newsroom - 6 Purdue students receive full ride with option to attend graduate school](6 Purdue students receive full ride with option to attend graduate school) Interesting that they were all engineering majors!

I’m surprised that they were all engineering majors, but I would expect a lot of them to be engineering majors. The engineering school is more highly ranked that the university as a whole, and therefore is able to attract more “elite” applicants. (I don’t know about the rankings of other schools within the University - e.g., Krannert.)

are this year’s beerings announced yet?
