SDSU Class of 2023 Application Thread

Waitlisted :frowning:
Major: nursing
CSU GPA: 4.18
SAT: 1340
ACT: 31
Does anyone know how likely it is for a nursing admit to get off the waitlist?

does anyone know when nursing decisions come out ?

will nursing acceptances keep rolling out? or is it just rejections and waitlists from now on

@Runnergirl123 re: SDSU Nursing decisions, they have begun. 5 or 6 posted here on 3-5-19, one waitlist today

Does anyone know if any points/priority are given for parents being high school graduates only, no college or is it strictly GPA / SAT?

@SBmom1989 SDSU admits by GPA and test scores only.

Has anyone been accepted from LA?

@lymphnode: Getting off the waitlist depends upon how many applicants enroll by May 1. Here are last year’s waitlist stats but they are not major specific:

Number of qualified applicants offered a place on waiting list: 2,853
Number accepting a place on the waiting list: 1,276
Number of wait-listed students admitted: 46

Wait so are acceptances over now?

@uwlover267 I don’t think anyone outside of Admissions knows for sure if acceptance notifications are over. They might still be rolling out until we see waves of waitlist notifications and rejections posted here. I recall seeing many more acceptances posted here last year before they were over.

I got waitlisted, I’m kind of sad

I just got Waitlisted too…

CSU GPA: 3.77
SAT: 1480
EI: 4496
Major: Economics Quantitative Analysis

asked to be placed on the wait list

Accepted at Cal Poly, Wisconsin, Tulane

so sorry ?

when will all decisions be out ?

I would hope more mass acceptances come, Cal Poly SLO has 1766 posts right now vs SDSU 454 posts and I see denials here already. Makes little sense to me if mass acceptances are already over with SDSU being a bigger school. Good Luck to all.

Dang : ( really competitive this year

has anyone heard back from foods and nutrition major?

Hi! SDSU is my top choice and I don’t think my chances of getting accepted are that high… I have a 3.5 GPA, taken 4 APs, and 25 ACT (not a great test taker). 1) what are my chances? 2) Do they send out rejection letters last? I’m hoping for the best but expecting the worst.
