<p>I think everyone who is missing got the mail in the first place.</p>
<p>BUT the people Columbia actually care about to submit their missing stuff
( for an obvious reason = they got in)
got series of emails keep telling them to submit their missing stuff or telling them columbia has waived them or that the FA file is completed.</p>
<p>Columbia has 2000~2500 kids applying and pretty much more than half of the applicants
applying for FA. They can send the same email to people who are missing stuff in the
first place (like 11/30) but i dont think they have enough free time to response to everyone
, including the rejects, to inform that the package is completed or stuff are still missing.
But i dont think they would blantly let people know the accepted/rejected thorugh the emails. So everyone got the first one but the additional ones are for who columbia really cares for.</p>
<p>Well, i also sent my missing stuff to them after getting the first e-mail that everyone got
and they are not contacting me back so i had my crushdown today and just moving along
with my life and regular decision apps :)
probably not even going to check the results on Thursday and maybe do it after midterm.</p>
<p>yea, i am pessimistic on myself, too, but i cant afford a depression right before the midterm :/</p>
<p>Hmm…don’t be too sad. I received the first email, and, after sending in the missing stuff, got another email saying that my financial aid application is complete. However, I think every time something is updated the system automatically sends an email because both the emails I received are one in the same. If you saw my stats, you’d probably laugh…so don’t let your hopes down just yet.</p>

I turned in my tax exemption form right after Columbia emailed me last week. Didn’t hear back after that. It doesn’t mean anything. Like other people said, they wouldn’t be stupid enough to reveal who got in through the fin aid process.</p>

<p>THIS SUCKS. unlike all of you, i submitted everything the first time(even the student tax waver form), and nowwww i don’t get any clues as to what my decision is…</p>

I KNOW I am definitely rejected, and I wrote to Columbia telling them that I have indeed submitted CSS/PROFILE, please find it and change my stats. And they ignore me. So maybe there is something to the theory.</p>
<p>^ im not trying to be pessimistic ( but am already pessimistic on myself and truely think i am rejected ), they did not bother to look or find it cus u did not get in. they just looked for yours since you asked and wondered what happened to it. i am really sorry say this but just adding to my theory… its not like i have a good chance with SAT Reading score of 630… we will all find out in two days so let’s be cool ( or i should be cool for myself first haha)</p>

I’m feeling the EXACT same way!!! I got an ABYSMAL sat reading score, a lot worse than yours so stop worrying. And I’m convinced I’m rejected. But I still like to hang around this forum cause it’s great. :)</p>
