My high school didn't have AC, so on one really hot day at the end of the year, they sent us home early.

Ohhh...one day it snowed really badly, and we usually get dismissed at 2:11. SO...we were expecting an early dismissal at around 1:50, or even 1:40, but we waited and waited. Finally, they said, "We're going to be issuing an early dismissal at 2:10." 2:10?!?!

lol qtip.

but 2:11?? They end school at such an exact time?

aye that seems eeriely precise...

We ended school at 3:14 or something.

We have a 22.5 minute lunch...the state minimum.

3:14 = approximation for pi

Mmmmm... pie. Who wants some French Silk Pie?

It always snows at the wrong time. No snow days :(
My school's schedule was so weird and hard to remember. We alternate a 6-day color schedule. And on wednesdays and fridays we end early, and the lunch and ad-hoc breaks are different those days. Soo confuzzling >.<

What is ad-hoc? 6 day color schedule? what does that mean?

zante - in hong kong we get typhoon/rainstorm warnings, and we had none of those days off this year either :(.

You freakster :p! ;)

2.11 ~= h/pi

LoL, okay, if I am a "freakster" for pointing out that 3.14 is an approximation for pi, what is armavirumque for pointing out that 2.11 is an approximation for h/pi?

What is h? 6.625? is it like pi, e, or phi?

h is Planck's constant... it's actually 6.626 x 10^-34, used for calculating the energy of a photon.

Sorry, couldn't resist :).

oh man i remember now... man. thats freaky.

Sorry, don't know what that is. You people are math freaksters! :p

Ad-hoc is a 20-30 minute break between 2nd and 3rd period. For club meetings and whatnot.
Six day color schedule = If this monday is Red, tuesday is Orange, etc. Next monday is purple, Tuesday is Red. It goes around and around...

Wow, that 6 color schedule must get confusing... my school was on alternating days (1 day with one set of 4 classes, the next day with a different set), and I would walk into the school confused about which day it was. Six days would drive me crazy.

wait, you had school for 6 days??
