Spring 2022 Transfer Thread

it won’t let me attach a screenshot but i’m seeing a bunch of options to click on with no content like ‘class search’, academic planning, transfer credit, etc.

yeah I see that stuff too and its all empty

Yeah I’m a little confused with the deadlines, looks like it is for the 2021-2022 academic year and the same deadline for those who would have enrolled in the fall (deadline being February 2021). I am assuming its a priority deadline and our documents will be accepted after because that’s almost a year earlier then when we would be enrolling if we were to get in lol

wait guys do you guys have access to self service and the fact they added a bunch of stuff for us to look at?

yea. asked the same question above. thought it might be indicative of being accepted but i doubt it

I didn’t see them. Are they in the portal?

They’re in the financial aid portal

Wait so is everyone able to use the class search tool and look through courses?

Yes Fatima

oh ok thanks

Do I have the financial aid portal if I didn’t apply for financial aid? :worried:

probably. it’s not just fin aid on it but a number of things like class search and so on. you can check by logging in using the same pw and info for your application status page.

Thank you!

Hi all! I also applied for Spring 2022 transfer to Cornell. I am super anxious about when we will be getting decisions back. Mid-November seem so ambiguous. Does anyone have any insights? I applied to CHE (if that matters)!

honestly probably won’t be until December. they start releasing decisions after November 15th on a rolling basis up until the first or second week of December. if anyone else knows differently please correct me

Do you know if they release the same ratio of acceptances and denials every week? Or is it better if you hear the first week versus later on or vice versa? I think someone above said in the past it has been every Tuesday mid-November to December. That would mean November 16, 23, and 30 for this year I believe.

yes, I can confirm that from reading previous year threads it will likely be on a Tuesday but I do not know the ratios (besides mostly rejections lol). I believe the week you hear back is mainly dependent on the school you applied to. Like CAS students may hear back the same week but CALS may hear a different week.

Okay, thanks! It makes a lot of sense to release by college. I am thinking about calling to see if admissions can offer any more insights as to when the College of Human Ecology will release their decisions. I just wish it was all one day instead of a multiple week window! TBH if I don’t hear back when others do, I feel like I will automatically think my chances are lower — even if that’s not the case.

What student ID?
