@elk1819 - I M P R E S S I V E! I read thru your stats twice wondering about what Stanford saw? But I was not grasping the whole app. Then, suddenly, I focused on your comment about your essay “the best thing I have ever written,” then your description of the alumni interview; and, finally, the brilliant description of how to show one’s OWN & DISTINCTIVE TRUE COLORS. And, then, it clicked. You are the complete package. At the end of the movie “21” Ben asks the Interviewer: “Did I dazzle you… did I jump off the page?” In your case, you certainly do. That’s why you got accepted. Some people say it’s a coin flip or that it is rigged or that is luck. I don’t believe any of that. I believe that you gotta show something special and you did/do when you write. Congrats, truly!

@elk1819 did not come across post with your stats but did see you were accepted EA to Princeton and granted an admissions interview at Cambridge so there must be something in your record that sets you apart . . . congrats.
@elk1819 - Well deserved! Me? I don’t think my heart is set on Stanford… but life is very unpredictable. I would absolutely love to make your acquaintance if I were to go that route. I’ll be back after 4/1/16.
Around which date will stanford let us the know the official time and date of the decision?
Will acceptance letter be delivered by the time we get the email?

EST or PST? I was slightly confused because I was under the impression they operate under PST time as they did for their admissions deadlines however if they released decisions around 6 like other schools do it would be 9pm on the east coast! @harvard2020babe

Last year they sent out decisions at 3pm PST on April 27th.

Oops once again. I think my brain is fried from today’s Calc bc exam. Yes I meant March 
Just was rejected from MIT, does this mean I have no chance at Stanford? I feel like my Stanford essays were my best by far. Does Stanford place a strong(er) emphasis on the essays?
So if they do last friday of March, i’m guessing decisions will be released the 25th of March this year? Around 3 pm pst would mean 6 pm est, which would then make sense. Hmm, simply speculating however! 
Anyone accepted to UNC Chapel Hill?
If I had to predict, it’d be March 25th, 2016 at 3pm EST (last Friday of March). Only issue is that it’s also Good Friday, so they might not release then…
@ComputerAge they don’t care about the fact that it’s Good Friday. I mean schools have their admitted students’ weekend on Easter and other Sundays.
