Are interviews selective in countries like India? The website says interviews are offered here but I think Harvard does selective interviews and wanted to know if Stanford does too.
Did anyone in India get an interview btw?
should I be worried if someone from my high school got an interview but I wasn’t contacted yet?
@photographynerd I have not heard of Stanford interviews in India as yet.
@photographynerd I know 3 people from India who’ve got Stanford interviews for RD. But considering the varied strength of the applicants, I’m inclined to think that they are random.
I just had my interview on Sunday. It was on the north side of Chicago, like 30 minutes from my school on public transportation.
@lovespink My son is having his this weekend.
@photographynerd Do you know from which cities of India?
@Dreamz25 I’ve heard of interviews in Bangalore till now
@photographynerd Thank you. I found out that Stanford interviews pretty much all applicants from India - at least they did last year. I am hoping for the same this year.
I had an interview last week; I am in Bangalore, India. It went amazing!
@anonymous1418 I sent them an update about a week ago and got no response. I called admissions and they told me that there is a credentials team who constantly is checking the email feed, but will not respond.
@ballin2022 Yeah, I emailed them as well and they said the same.
when does stanford start sending likely letters
I got into Stanford REA this past December and I was never contacted for an interview. It honestly is totally contingent on the number of alumni in your area and nothing else.
Someone I know just received a likely letter via email!
@MaybeHarvard2022 Is that something Stanford is known to do?
@grandscheme yes. guess they started sending them today.
@MaybeHarvard2022 sorry, this is probably a dumb question, but what is a likely letter?
@celara55 a likely letter is when the school offers early admission to applicants they really want before final decisions are released.
@MaybeHarvard2022 Do they mail them or email them?
