Anyone receive a likely letter today?

Haven’t seen anyone posting it yet. Did you?

When were decisions released last year? Was it April 1 – as states Stanford’s website this year – then as well? Just curious because April 1 (and even March 30) is incredibly late. anxious haha

@happygal2017 last year they were released on March 31st, a Friday, so that’s why everyone thinks they will be released on March 30th this year (also a Friday). I’m hoping for a different day though because March 30th is my 18th birthday and I don’t want it to be ruined haha!

Is there anyone here who hasn’t yet had an interview? And for those who have had one, did you request for one? Or they just emailed you?

Do International students get likely letters??

@girlgoingtouni I haven’t had an interview yet. But I think that it’s probably because there aren’t any alumni where I live (I’m an international applicant).

@stanford2022 I’m from India too - I did my interview on 21st Jan, if it helps

No interview in CT.

No interview, FL

Does the portal show when Stanford received your mid-year transcript? Because my common app says it was submitted/downloaded, but it’s not showing up on my portal

@yeyonce7 no it does not

@dowzerw really all Lemonade wanted to do was start a conversation but no you had to be a bully well why dont you stop hiding behind your computer screen and show us your face “dowzerw”

Anyone see any likely letters this week?

Interviews ended Feb 19. If you didn’t get one, don’t worry. Stanford didn’t start interviewing until relatively recently so there are very few trained alumni volunteers compared to the Ivies. There’s just not enough manpower to do 45min interviews for 40000 applicants.

No Interview for DS in So Cal. But from what I read here, that’s no indication of the chances of admission (which are very low for everyone).

So guys does anyone know if Stanford limits the number of likelies they send in each wave??

I understand that they are trying to not raise attention to these likely letter things and make everyone worried, so that’s why they do waves, but do they cap waves at a certain number of likelies??

Also, can we expect another wave to come or is that not probable at all (according to previous years)?

Hey guys, I’ve noticed that there is some anxiousness surrounding the likely letters. Why is everyone so curious?
Do you guys expect to be admitted to Stanford???And even if you do, do you expect to be admitted via Likely letter???

I would just relax. Likelies are given to the best of the best and if you are expecting to receive one then you are out of your mind. No one should be expecting to get into Stanford let alone expecting to receive a likely letter.

Just be patient.

@matthewW12 You’re right, haha. But dreaming of something, even if very improbable to happen, isn’t forbidden. Let the hope live…
