The University of Texas Dorms

Yes it is.

Is Jester East separated (by sex) by wing or floor?

Are there community kitchens in the dorms?

Yes. There are kitchens. Usually you go to the front desk and check out a key to use it.

Do all the dorms have kitchens?

^ I have the same question.

Laundry Questions…
should I be worrying about people taking clothes from the laundry machines?
how long do they usually take to wash and dry?
when is usually the best, non-traffic time to do laundry?

This is the room I was in last semester  W0244

I never had a problem with people taking my laundry (Jester) but trying to wash clothes on the weekend is crazy. I usually washed them on a Monday or Wednesday around 1 pm because I didn’t have class and there was nobody there. The washers take about 35 minutes and the dryers about an hour, I think. You want to make sure you clean the little tray for the detergent and softener first because there’s sometimes excess soap and bleach on it.

People took out my clothes in Kinsolving. =/
I did my laundry at like midnight on random weekdays. Lol.

can someone help me decipher Jester Center W2913R? >.<

Jester West, second floor I believe (I’m pretty sure there is not a 29th floor at Jester).

Is that a supplemental room? The numbering isn’t proper, and I don’t know of any that end in a R.

oops my bad, typo =="

Jester Center W0913R

So it’ll be Jester West, 9th floor, room 13? and yea what does R mean I wonder

Are you connecting bath? Community bath?

community bath, is that what the R means?

No, I’ve never seen an R. I thought it might have to do with connecting baths and connecting rooms.

It is supplemental space? Do you know? Or is it just a regular room? When did you get the assignment? Recently?

i got it like…1 1/2 months ago, and I’m sharing it with two other guys. Well, i’m pretty sure it’s not supplemental…ah well…I’ll just wait and see, I just wanted to know the exact location :-)

3 people in a room? Sounds like supplemental space, I think.

oh crap >.<
I’ll go make some calls now
