My unofficial transcript is finally loaded. Does this mean that I’m getting a mail? if that’s the case, I’m currently in Asia, so it will take forever to reach my country.

@nmanvayko

Have you heard bk anything yet? I asked a couple of advisors and they gave me different answers. My fd was rejected to the ee department and the letter was through email.

I haven’t heard yet either. Earlier today two advisors told me that all decisions have been sent out, either in the mail or through email.

Did they say that mails should be the rejection letters? So it means ppl who have not heard bk r rejected?!

They didn’t say that, but everyone that I know who has gotten in has heard through email! And they said they sent out all decisions already…

@nmanvayko

My fd was rejected to ee department and they notified him by email. And one engineering advisor told me that they should send us email no matter the news is good or not. But the other advisor told me exactly the same thing u posted.

The ME advisor told me they put letters in the mail on the 24th so we’ll see what that means! Mine should be here today

plz plz update as soon as you recieve the mail. I do not think I will receive any mail because I am an international student and I am not currently in the U.S. I asked industrial engineering department and the lady helped me check my status. She said she cannot see anything on my status. She aslo said maybe I was denied but it is possible for them to make a mistake. The ME advisor is away from the office until Tuesday. It really drives me crazy!

I still have not gotten a letter >:(

@mnalivayko

R u female or male? Could u plz post your status?
I am a female ME student transferring from an in state community college. Prerequisite GPA: 3.62.

I’m female as well. Also transferring from an in state community college. Overall GPA 3.53

omg…that’s definitely weird! Check this out:

Can you see the difference between female applicants and male applicants?!

Got my letter today and I wasn’t accepted. A couple of my friends who also applied to ME got their letters today too.

so all the letters r bad news? its so unfair…a fd has similar gpa to me was admitted. Did u check the statistics i post before? they only admited 4 female transfer std with a significant higher average gpa than male last year. i think i will run a petition.

I thought it didnt matter if youre male or female??!?!?!

It does not matter one bit if you are male or female. But the pool of applicants is not 50/50 male and female. More men tend to apply.

Yeah I agree with Alexander. Men tend to apply more than women to the engineering department. If you have chances to check other department, I believe the rate should be equal.

Thank you guys. I was notified the acceptance to ME just now. I am accepted! Hell Yeah!:)

Congratulation!
