UC Davis

I don't think universities take into account how many students from your own school apply...I could be wrong? Any Help?

yeah they don't take account on the number but they will certainly pay attention to schools who have sent them top reliable students.

Is it better to come from a underperforming school and get good grades, or is it better to go to a top notch high school and get mediocre grades?

rejected... sorry dude

bump......

i would assume that class rank plays a good role even in the UC system. they could easily compare your GPA to other applicants at your high school and create and arbitrary ranking system.

schools don't automatically send grades to the UC's... do they?

Anyways then how will they figure out your class rank?

bump............

class rank is not used

ELC is used and heavily wieghted
this means you in the top 4% of your class. You can look up all the regs and info of ELC through the uc pathways site or the search function
