My financial aid estimates finally got posted! Not as great as I hoped for but I shouldn’t be surprised, Santa Cruz is a pricey place to live (sister is a current UCSC junior). Congrats and good luck to everyone!

So my UCSC application doesn’t say anything. No new messages, but I’ve gotten 2 emails congratulating me on my admission to UCSC and that I can join their facebook group and watch some videos of UCSC students. Is this what you guys are going off of for admission decisions or something more official?

So excited to finally get my first (and hopefully not last) UC admission out of the way. I love Santa Cruz and just may end up going here, I thought for sure I was going to get rejected due to my lack of math class completion (doing statistics and calculus right now in spring semester). This is a HUGE relief and hopefully a sign of things to come
@jonuni94 EFC was around 10k (I’m older though, the excepted contribution is attributed to my own income). UCSB offered 23k (wish more loans and less grants), while UCSB is offering 32k (more grants and less loans). Didn’t expect that
Can someone tell me where to look for the major I’ve been accepted to? I see that I’ve been accepted when I check my app status in the portal. But no where does it mention or talk about my major (marine biology), even contracts & conditions doesn’t tell me.
For those that have been accepted does it tell you how many of your credits transfer? Also, any update on how many others have gotten their financial aid posted in their UCSC portal?
