Isn’t it pretty much leaning towards rejection/waitlist now, since many people already got accepted, and it has nearly been a week since these decisions first began releasing?
No, not at all. They haven’t even reviewed half of the transfer applications. They reject/accept on a daily basis. So us not hearing from UCSC yet is a good thing, they just haven’t gotten to ours yet. Also there isn’t a waitlist for transfers.
I’m hoping thats not the case @BE3ZY219 and we are just still in line to be reviewed!

Hey everyone!! I applied as a Psych major with a transferable gpa of 3.56. I didnt do the TAG but i completed the IGETC. I got an email yesterday saying
"We are in the process of reviewing your application. Before we can complete our review and reach an admission decision, we need the following information from you:
- You have not taken a precalculus (OR calculus) course which is required for the PSYCHOLOGY major at UC Santa Cruz.
We may be able to still consider you for fall 2015 admission if you are able to take this course in the summer 2015 term. If you are willing to take this class, please reply with the name of the institution at which you will enroll, the department, course number, course title, and number of units for the course[s] you have added.
So does that mean that i have good chances ti get in if i take that course? I didnt know that precalc was a prereq, i thought that stats was needed for psych majors.
@Kchrist I think that’s good news! They are giving you a chance to take an important course instead of rejecting you!
@basAlbus I hope so. I am not getting anything, and am starting to panic.
@Kchrist it sounds like you either get rejected or have “a chance” of being considered for admission…
They’re not even sure if they will consider for admission even if you take it in the summer…

@trsCak6613 I’m still waiting and I’m a Business major, but there have been one or two in this thread (very minimal surprisingly) that have been accepted.
