@caligurl101 what major?
This better not be a bluff I swear…
Omg kill me now
Do they send out acceptances alphabetically? :-S
@janu @indecisive15 @Ruggy7 Hey what are you guys’ last names?
For those of you who were accepted, would you be so kind as to share with us your grades and whether or not you wrote another personal statement in the space provided?
If you haven’t already, can you please also share what major you were accepted for? Thanks!
I really need some help here…I was wait listed at UCLA and I appealed to UCB. In the space given in UCLA’s portal
for those wait listed I pasted my appeal statement.
I just read it today and there was a sentence where I wrote ’ I think Berkeley will be the best place for my academic
pursuits’ …How badly will this affect my admission to UCLA!!!
@californiakid1 My last name starts with a W!
@theworld123 I have no idea, but I am giving you a virtual hug rn because I know how much you must be stressing about that.
@theworld123 I’m so sorry about your worries, but think of it this way, the whole 7,000 characters space was OPTIONAL, so if worse comes down to worse they just won’t consider what you wrote and just review your application again. I know that doesn’t sound really good but what you wrote is optional so maybe they will just ignore the Berkeley statement.
I think we’ll hear another batch around Wednesday (if there is one), since that’s the date accepted-off-waitlist have to reply back. Not sure if this was already mentioned yet.
Also, I doubt that the order of your last name matters at all. If you look in the UCLA Facebook group, the people who posted saying they got off the waitlist have last names all over the alphabet.
Has it been confirmed that it’s just OOS? Or is it in state students too?
I think last year, they gave 72 hours to decide for the waitlisted people. So, it should come tomorrow morning since the 1st offer was made on 5/2. So, the next wave should come on 5/5. But no one has posted how much time they have been given to accept the offer.
It says on the website that they have 3 days to accept the offer.
A girl on Facebook said that she had until Wednesday to decide. But yeah, perhaps tomorrow…
HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU’RE OFFERED A SPOT HELP
I don’t want to miss it
@BassGuitar you will get an email from the admissions office. You can alternatively check your UCLA portal daily just in case the email went to spam or something
Best of luck everyone. keep your head up
I’m 99% sure only OOS and international students have been notified! Good luck guys!
