I was waitlisted but I ended up appealing the decision like the last day you could have (April 15) and I am happy to say that I am an official triton!

@musicnerd101 you were wait-listed this year or last year? Im waitlisted too and im still waiting :(

When did you find out ? Today ? @musicnerd101

Ms Sun posted an update:
San Diego - The campus hasn’t released any waitlist decisions yet (the information circulating on College Confidential is apparently false). It sounds like there is a possibility the campus won’t be utilizing the waitlist, if I’m interpreting the tone of the person I spoke to correctly. Either way, the campus should release waitlist decisions later this week or early next week.

@hc1996
Who did you speak with (UCSD or Mrs. Sun)?

sigh doesnt look too good

@Marisaj Ms. Sun posted that on her blog, she said she called the admissions office today.

Anyone else checking their portal every hour? :-/

Yes!! But are they supposed to come out today? @MarisaJ

We don’t know. Someone should call admissions!

I called. No one has been let off the wait list as of yet.

Okay guys I’m giving up

Why would they wait this long to release waitlist decisions if they already know their enrollment numbers? If they knew that no one would be admitted off the waitlist this year, couldn’t they have told us earlier? I can’t tell if it’s good or bad news. Good luck, everyone.

Honestly they are way slow in processing these decisions. They should hurry up.

Check your portals. It says, “We wish to inform you that our enrollment goals for 2014-15 have been met; therefore, we are unable to offer admission to any student on the waitlist. Thank you for participating in the waitlist process. We wish you the best in pursuit of your educational goals.”

Well whatever. Officially UCSB bound now. XD

@l2equiem, UCSB is a great school. You’ll be very happy there and will get an excellent education.
