For those who got the calls, did they say that you’ve been accepted with a regents?

For those of you wondering, no it is not in alphabetical order. This week (March 1-6) falculaty and staff are calling admitted students that have been admitted to their department and/or their college. The following week current students will call more admitted students (I don’t know if there is an order for this week). Finally the week after that alumni will be calling admitted students to tell them about their Triton experience (I also don’t know if there is an order for this week).
I actually receieved a phone call yesterday after 4 PM and the area code was 858. However when I picked up, no one was speaking. This number called me twice. Tried calling back to no avail. Do you think they might have someone else call me if it really is a call from UCSD?
I did not get any call. I got CAL regents invite and accepted with Regents at UCI and UCSB. i am eagerly waiting for UC LA and UCSD. UCLA and UCSD are my top choices. not sure if i can get into these colleges
@vsbayarea I don’t think you should worry. CAL regents invite is pretty damn hard to get so you’ll probably get into at least UCSD

Got a call from La Jolla today, an 858 number. Sadly, it was not UCSD.

I got a call from Carlsbad. It was a 760 number. I didn’t answer it. Was it possible that it was UCSD?
@andyv123 yes, it is possible, especially if you don’t live in the area.
@gonewiththeair I called the number back and it was disconnected. Is that normal or is that a sign that it isn’t UCSD?
@andyv123 I’m really not sure, I’m sorry. If you live in the area it could just be a telemarketer or something. If you don’t live in San Diego, it may still be UCSD. Try Googling the number and see what comes up.
@gonewiththeair I don’t live in the area and I never get calls from Carlsbad, so I’m unsure haha. Thanks for the help!

Is everyone supposed to get a call if accepted or can I still be accepted on the 11 and not get a call?
