<p>I applied back in April… In all honesty… This is ridiculous. I’m starting to think negatively, lol. Blah. Super close to just saying forget it and going to FSU instead. :/</p>

I decided to join. I’m among those who have not heard yet and is ANXIOUSLY awaiting a reply. Ugh, it’s horrible. My patience has definitely met its match haha. Congrats to those who have gotten accepted already :)</p>

<p>Has anyone tried emailing their colleges? Im going to do that. Did they just forget about us or something…lol. I applied early this summer and STILL nothing. Tomorrow I will have NOTHING, saturday i will have NOTHING (trust me…I just know. -sigh- )</p>
<p>If a bunch of people keep emailing them and asking for responses Im sure they will have to start giving them out.</p>
<p>Well my boyfriend called the College of Journalism and Communications (the one I applied to). Their response was that they were trying to have everyone done in the end of Oct/early Nov. Well it’s the end of Oct… I just can’t believe it takes THIS long. My plan B is UCF and their housing application opens early Nov, and I’m not really willing to let UF taking forever to get back to me jeapodize the housing that I need to have at UCF.</p>
<p>^Me neither. I got accepted to FSU and if I don’t hear anything by Monday Im paying my enrollment fee. Seriously screw it…I cant take that risk because I only applied to 2 schools…FSU and UF. I cant beleive its taking this long either. Its a little ridiculous if you ask me. I turned everything in early, it would be only fair to notify people like me at an appropriate time…because a lot of us still have to worry about housing (heck, my parents are moving at the end of the year so it is especially important for me.)</p>
<p>That’s exactly how I feel… there should be SOME kind of prioritizing here. I thought applying in July was early but I see O&M applied in April. And yeah, it’s just not fair to risk having a place to live/dorm at all, especially with the chance of getting rejected. What’s interesting to me is that the lady that is “assigned” to me that deals with people that have the certain last names doesn’t even have a contact page. In the beginning before I submitted my application it was the same thing. I figured out what her email would be with her last name and first name and she replied telling me she was on leave, but would pass me on to another individual. Needless to say, I had to go through three people to see if I was in the right place to apply (since it says to double check with your college) and by the time I got to the third person the fowarded email was confusing for them and they really didn’t even answer my question. I went ahead and applied anyway.</p>
<p>This sounds kinda mean, but I’m glad I’m not alone in this waiting business. I’m from the west coast and know very little about Florida. It’s crucial for me to get housing all settled out, haha! I’m with the general thought here…Securing my housing options at FSU if I don’t hear back by the middle of next week. November 15 is the absolute deadline to hear back, but I doubt I can wait that long. :/</p>
<p>True, i’ve actually been accepted to FSU as well, but i’m choosing USF as my alternative to UF. I’m just going to wait until you guys start getting accepted to check :D</p>

Well sry I havent been on since like wed. been busy. but no news yet. I will prob check but do not expect anything to start happening until monday at the earliest. Do they send the rejects/accepts during the weekend…anyone know???</p>
<p>my friend up at UF told me that the school is closed on the weekends, so i would assume no staff=no admissions.</p>
<p>oh well… mabye monday…wishfull thinking i know…oh and happy halloween everyone!!!</p>
<p>Totally found out today that I was accepted into UF WHAT A HALLOWEEN. I’m super excited, and I don’t know if this means it was changed sometime yesterday later than 5? Or by some off chance they do change things on the weekends? I’m not positive, but best of luck to those still waiting :)!!!</p>

<p>well my time (which is also UF’s time) is 10 a.m. we still have a full day ahead of hopefully…congrats. you have been accepted…blah blah blah…hehe.
Oh i wanted to ask/say something. Like you have been saying O&M, we are supposed to know something by nov. 15. i also called to verify that date and that is the one the lady told me. Now, my understanding of that would mean that we should have our letters from the mail by nov. 15, because anything online is only for convience, it is not deffinate. So, since the mail depending on where you would be (i am in fl) it could take 2-5 business days, so i would think that we should know something by this week. now this could be hopeful wishing but when they said everyone should know by nov. 15 that to me sounds like the real knowing, not just what the computer says… ya know??? tell me what you think…</p>
