Honestly somewhat surprised with the decision, given my GPA and lackluster essays. In my application I said that my advanced credit made me eligible for CS transfer even though they say juniors only - I guess they agreed!
I just got accepted earlier this week as a global studies major and I’m from Michigan and transferring from University of Vermont, congrats to all who got in!

Why is everyone getting their decisions so early? Aren’t they suppose to reveal it at around mid April?
Right? Why doesn’t the ECE department love me? I need their acceptance :’(

We had a representative from UIUC come to my CC today. She told me that engineering decisions are typically made all at once and that we should expect to hear back in two to three weeks.
She also told me that they will still average retake grades even if the original grade was from six years ago, which has me extremely anxious about my chances.
Additionally, I was told that if you do appeal an admission decision for engineering they generally only look at your Spring grades, and they will not take letters of recommendation for appeal decisions.
Still waiting for my financial aid package…
I got a request for syllabi for my courses, so I’m hoping that’s a good sign… 
Ive been lurking for a while, im getting so anxious! I applied as a junior psych transfer a few days before the March 1 deadline. They requested syllabi last friday, how long does it usually take for an answer after that request? :-SS
Just curious, are those of you who are getting syllabi request out of state/applying from an in-state four year school?

I was requested my syllabi as well, because I went to a no name state university in Florida. Glad they accepted all of my Florida’s credits. I got accepted to COE in CS after a few weeks.
Sorry to hear that @LaneRendell maybe your classes didnt articulate?
@nola535 That’s a possibility, but I hadn’t heard back about articulation yet. My GPA was on the lower side so I suspect that.
