I’m late to join in but I’ve been lurking for months now, so…

Currently at SJR State
Current GPA is 3.68, about to be 3.74
Current major GPA is 3.54 with two in progress pre-reqs, will be 3.68
CALS/FYCS

I applied on 1/26, and all the info was in on 2/11. I know someone that’s in for CLAS/Poli Sci already so I’m hoping I hear back soon. I’ve been stuck with the “Once your grade point average is calculated…” message forever. They do tell us once it’s passed on to the college, right? Does anyone know if those two in progress prereqs could be holding me back?

It shouldn’t be an issue as long as you meet their basic transfer requirements and logged down current/future pre-reqs on the application.

Reading through old threads, April seems to be decision month, hopefully.

I got accepted on Wednesday into the college of engineering for computer science. My stats are on the 3rd page, but I changed my major from Computer Engineering to Computer Science. I also got accepted to UCF. Now, I have a dilemma choosing between the two.

Exactly 3 weeks since my application was referred to CLAS. Still radio silence.

Anyone else have any updates?

It all depends on your college. They usually have set dates they let people know. For my major sports business they said I should find out late April early May. Email them and they’ll tell you. Also I’ve been referred to the college since February 1st so they’ll take their sweet time

After my application was sent to CLAS, it took just about 3 weeks to get accepted! Don’t lose hope. As long as you have the minimum requirements you should be just fine, especially if your major is not particularly competitive.

Pre-Professional GPA: 4.0
SAT: 1930
All pre-requs and suggested classes taken, many relevant extra curriculars, 24 Honors credits

Depending on your major and date you submitted the application, it might take a while. Many of us are still waiting so don’t worry too much.
