Calling really isnāt going to get much accomplished. I think itās fine if you have a specific question about your application or scholarship, but the generic question that everyone is bound to ask is going to get annoying. We all just need some ice cream to help cool down.

I disagree, @Calicash. Her only other post was in the ND forum, where she said she was from Florida and waiting for results. That could be for her own child. I think it is her.

Regardless if that is Felicia or not, people should not be harassing the admissions office, which from what I can tell has become sport.
She works in an admissions office and answers the phone. I donāt think she is on an admissions committee.
Idk why this is getting so dramatic. All I know is I want results and I want them now! I understand why students may call and I understand why Felicia is annoyed. Both sides are not pleasant but letās not go too far.

I would hope admissions employees do not use text abbreviations online, however, Iāve also been shocked at some of the grammar used by applicants on this post. It sort of saddens me that someone who cannot differentiate between āwereā and āwhereā might get accepted to Miami.
Focus on whatās important. If they really are coming out today at 5, we only have 4 more hours of waiting!
Iām not saying Miami is the most elite school in the nation, because itās not. But since Miami is one of the top #50, I would just expect that spelling and grammar would only suffer minor errors, not major ones. In my public school, three misspelled words requires an automatic F on a paper. I would like to see a little more professionalism, thatās all.
You need to relax, this is a blog. People donāt check their grammar and spelling in an online setting amongst people their own age. You must be living under a rock.

Iām as relaxed as I can be. I have as much anxiety as anyone else awaiting decisions on this forum. I may not live under a rock, as Iām not Patrick Star, but I do live in Kansas, and everyone has their own diction. I am also hoping decisions are released this evening!
Everyone hating on felicia needs to relax. You are the exact people that make that job unbearable. Imagine if you guys had 100 felicias yelling at you all the time. You would find it miserable, which is exactly what you guys are doing.
If Iām an admissions officer I donāt take any of you because many of you are unnecessarily rude and obviously cant deal with yourselves. Take it easy
