Does anyone know if they’ll be able to release decisions when they’re not there or is this some automatic thing?
its friday. after 5.
The lady answering calls told me there was a possibility of it being over the weekend too, but I think no one knows besides the people who are actually making decisions.
I’m not one to complain but this is a ridiculously long wait. I applied to USF and got accepted literally three days later. I’m talking early December.
Where do we go on the cane site to view decisions?
protist, same! I applied to UCF and got accepted 4 days after like wtfffffff lool
Last year they found out around like 2pm so idk when we actually find out
bump
Still nothing! Yay
i’m extremely frustrated
What is everyone’s opinion: if I get rejected or deferred from Miami (if results even come out before the 13th) what are my chances of being accepted to UF? I’m out of state by the way.
I mean, can we be surprised? This is the worst EA process in the nation.
The decisions are usually the first Friday of feb. They may send them in batches, not all at once. Could be sent by geographic area. This has been the practice in the past.
@chicacademy I’m sure there are people who’ve been accepted by the U and rejected by UF and vice versa.
I just checked every hashtag relevant to UMiami on twitter - nothing. Looks like we have a little bit longer of a wait.
Lol RT to the worst Ea process in the nation
@chicacademy most people I know that get rejected from the U end up at florida!
ITT: anger and confusion
I AM SO BEYOND FRUSTRATED
@chicacademy Your out-of-state status probably decreases your chances just slightly at UF since the U is private, but since I don’t know your ECs or scores or anything, if you applied then I’m sure you know you have a chance at least. The colleges are completely different in almost every aspect anyway…
