yeah thats what i’m seeing too. it’s driving me crazy. at this point, isn’t there only acceptance or rejection because they released all the deferrals?
This is seriously frustrating how can they leave us in the dark like this. Some please call
There is the um it service desk number on the student home page. They might know something
No one call the admissions office is closed
“Early February”, That’s a lie
So is it safe to assume nothing will happen today since it is Sunday and the office is closed?
Yeah
is there any way they would release decisions today?
No it’s still possible. Yesterday they were closed and released deferrals
It wasn’t closed j called yesterday. The lady was super nice
Just checked and I was deferred.
3.5 GPA
31 Composite ACT - 32 superscored
Lots of EC’s, 2 jobs, spent my summer in Ghana, did an exchange program with a Danish gymnasium (lived with 2 boys in Denmark, they came and lived with me)
Accepted to - UPitt, University of South Carolina, Indiana University
Deferred from - Tulane, University of Georgia, Miami
Waiting on Fordham
Anyone else find it so irrational that we have to wait until April 15th to hear back? Two weeks before we have to make a decision? I live in PA, so I haven’t visited. I don’t want to buy a plane ticket to go visit if theres a chance I’m going to be denied, you know? That’s such a waste of money. And buying a ticket to go visit the school in a two week time period if I DO get in, on short notice, is also so much money. It’s just very sloppy to me.
OMG IM INTL’ AND I DID NOT GET MY DECISION.
They were closed yesterday, and they still posted deferrals so theres still a chance
@RtotheB im international as well and still haven’t gotten my decision, which is making me pretty anxious since international students got their decisions yesterday morning…
Nothing here
@bouchmous did most of them get accepted??
On canelink, It still says that a decision will be posted on the 20th of Feb
@RtotheB where do you see this?
Hmw150, if it helps at all, I went to both Indiana (undergrad) and Pitt (law school), and Indiana is so much better, no contest. Unless you really want to be in a city setting, IU is such a cool campus. I’ve never been to USC, but a good friend went there and wasn’t impressed. Just my point of view. If my d doesn’t get into Miami, she is going to IU and in fact we already put the deposit down. Miami is a reach for her and she already loves IU. Pittsburgh is an awesome city, but the campus is not. I’ve heard they have made a lot of improvements, though. I stayed in the dorms when I visited the law school and I felt like I was in PRISON haha sad but true.
