University of Miami class of 2022

It really makes me mad that they’re trying to cover this up with “cute” Instagram videos. Stop talking about it and just releases the decisions. They’re trying to pretend that this is totally normal.

what is there instagram user on which the stories were posted?

UMadmissions I struggled to find it too @letmeinplsibeg1

My son was admitted ED fall 2018 and package was received via US postal service 7 or 8 days after he was notified of acceptance on canelink nothing from fedex. I assume the fedex thing is for international students. Hope that helps. Good luck to all of you.

I got an alert via email on 1/17/2017, similar to some other the earlier posters in the chat. I haven’t even received an official acceptance letter yet, but I am getting flown down to Miami in March to interview for these scholarships.

@A1A1A1 ^^

Online, it had said EA would be notified by February 1.
Can I assume that they will for sure be released by latest Thursday? Or…

Where did you see that decisions will be out February 1

Also, just checked UMiami website and it says ea will be notified late January. It doesn’t say “Late January-Early Feb” anymore just late January. I’m so confused

it still says late january-early february @Cboyle127

You have an old link. Go through google and you will get here: https://admissions.miami.edu/undergraduate/application-process/options-and-deadlines/freshman-options-and-deadlines/index.html

Interestingly, however, if you google it, this pops up, which still says late January.

Confused by the inconsistencies…

It’ll come out tomorrow (Thursday), we think. No one knows for sure because they aren’t giving us a date.

The old page should have been removed by UM. Google can find it if you have a specific enough search. The admissions site will lead you to the proper page if you start there. A bit sloppy by admissions. Causing unnecessary confusion. In any case, looks like Monday at the latest, but more likely before the weekend… Good luck! Just a tittle bit longer.

if you navigate their pages from the home page (vs google search) the late Jan to Early Feb seems to be more correct. Not sure, if early Feb could mean 1st week of Feb :frowning:

Will merit scholarship $ (if awarded) be included in the initial acceptance letter?

@A1A1A1 , hope so. Did anyone applied to their HPM program?

Has anyone gotten an email from fed ex about receiving something from Miami that lives in the United States?

@bulldoglover Im pretty sure only international students have

@cd2030 I applied to HPM
