Again, they do not release all the results at the same time. It usually starts in mid/late afternoon and it will be spread over several hours for the first day, and then continue the next 2-3 days at any time. After that, it becomes sporadic.

@allycat231 Because nobody really has any idea. Just wait and see at this point.

What was last years OOS acceptance rate?

I think it was something like 20%

24%

anybody know acceptance rate for legacies?

Most know this, but in state vs. out of state acceptance rate vastly different.

Of the 55,500 applications UM received for the fall of 2016, 10,959 were submitted by in-state students with 4,511 being offered admissions for an acceptance rate of 42.4 percent.

From among the 35,783 applications submitted by students living in states other than Michigan and the 8,758 applicants living in other countries, 10,815 were offered admission for an out-of-state acceptance rate of 24.5 percent.

@allycat231 Because admissions said so

Thanks for the stats.

I just sent myself an email notifying myself that I have been accepted - yeah, sure it’s a little narcissistic but all this waiting for the real decision to come out is driving me nuts.

Speaking of driving, I will be driving to Ann Arbor tomorrow to have my name painted on that concrete car stop thingy in front of my designated parking space. If any of you happen see me there, don’t forget to honk.

dang I’m getting so nervous rn

PRAY FOR WEDNESDAY GUYS, the stress in my school has been pretty insane (many bright kids reject/defer from ivy). We are a top top feeder for Umich and people have wanted to go blue since elementary school before they even knew what college was. I wish everyone the best of luck, and remember, many of us won’t get in Early, but will for regular. You guys got this!!!

Literally no one from my high school has ever gotten into UMich, much less an Ivy. Anyone who gets above a 30 on the ACT is talked about in hushed, reverent tones.

Hi how would you choose between UMich and UVA?
