@calima your stats are fine
Admissions tweeted at 10:57am. “Just another reminder that all EA applicants will receive a decision by Dec. 24.”
Someone already stated above. Sorry for repeating.
There was simply no EA before 2011. It was all rolling. Don’t waste your time to look for earlier EA data.
any chance for today?
probably not
Why would they tweet a reminder when they pinned the tweet two weeks ago and said there is no other information? Perhaps they will start releasing now with some coming every day for the next few days and just don’t want to get a ton of phone calls when one student is notified a day before another?
is it most likely coming out tomorrow or Friday or Sunday?
I have heard that it will start releasing today in batches but tht may just be a rumor
@misskiesha420 where’d you hear that?
@gradtke a friend of mine knows someone in admissions i believe
A quick general question here: do colleges care at all about unexcused absences? Is that even something they look at?
no @Ochillith
at what time do admission decisions usually come out?
Based on what I’ve seen, it’s a possibility they’re released tomorrow, but if I had to put money on it, I’d bet they’re released Friday.
I came here to make myself less nervous, but I think all this speculation is making me more nervous
I just called admissions, they won’t release decisions today
did you ask when they will? @umichhello
The precedent of Wednesday last year leads me to believe that there is a real likelihood they’re released tomorrow.
I have no insider info, but in the last four years, their average days away from the 24th is 4.5 days away. It would make sense that if they’re released tomorrow, it would be:
A) the second Wednesday EA release in a row
B) consistent with the last four year’s release dates’ timing
C) and (most importantly) wouldn’t put pressure the admission officers going into the Friday before Christmas.
This is just my two cents, so we’ll see.
no they didnt say when, just kept repeating “by the 24th” lol
I think Friday would be the latest they would be released. Just logically, I can’t imagine admissions officers wanting to spend the day before Christmas Eve (or Christmas Eve) toiling over applications while their family is all together. Ya know?
