When they posted desicions last year did they tweet anything before?
Just confirming, Michigan will get back before/on the 24th?
I really think they don’t even know when they’re gonna release them. Safest bet is Friday.
@gradtke and @goblue012 it’s not real, we already had someone conflict with that information, they are just trolling.
So if Friday, 3pm?
lol guys nobody actually knows, it’s all just speculation. Nobody expected it to be Wednesday last year so it very well could be tomorrow or Thursday or Saturday, we just don’t know
But most likely Friday if we are gonna analyze trends
If you follow that in the past, you would know even the admission office info was not reliable. Last year, they said results not available yet but announced a few hours later.
I doubt it will be Friday. The campus will most likely already be a ghost town by then. I am betting either tomorrow or Thursday. I highly doubt today and I highly doubt Friday. And whoever is guessing 3pm is ignorant as last year the email was sent at 7:20pm. The time is very unpredictable but I think we can assume tomorrow or Thursday as the day.
“By the 24th” suggests that admissions is at least preparing for the possibility of releasing decisions late Friday or some time Saturday/Sunday. I do hope that they release all decisions at once, rather than doing them rolling style and cause even more agony. Good luck to everyone regardless of when the decisions come out!
I have an ACT 35 and GPA 4.6 OOS with over 10 AP’s and multiple 5’s on at the exams. Im thinking if decisions come out tomorrow I still won’t know since it appears most OOS get deferred at first. I hope I’m wrong but trying to prepare myself and be realistic.
Most EA applicants, in state or not, get deferred from EA anyway.
@billcsho If that is true then why even have the application option? Where did you hear this? Sounds like a fabricated statement to me.
I’m waiting! Got rejected from UPenn and deferred for MIT…
My hope’s been crushed. Hopefully this can revive it!
@yourmomma your name is very fitting based on the posts I’ve seen from you so far
My S had a HAIL interview.
I find it interesting that I haven’t seen a single person accepted to an ED/EA at an Ivy mentioned so far, but lot’s of people seem to keep getting deferred from other equally elite non-ivy schools.
I think whether or not your stats are fine depends on whether or not you are applying to the College of Engineering or LSA.
It depends on what your counselor and teachers wrote in their letter of recommendations. If they were annoyed by the absences, they could have mentioned them in the letter, and then it would definitely not look good.
@WantInternship Which would you say is more difficult?
