@bluedreamer congrats! With your stats and stuff I would’ve been shocked if you didn’t get in, you seemed like an easy accept in my mind!
The waiting game is killing me! I had all my materials submitted and processed in wolverine access on September 12th and I know my app was marked complete before October first. I’m hoping it isn’t too much longer of a wait.
@bluedreamer congratulations!! that’s awesome. When you said to check wolverine access, where did it say you were admitted? did they also send you an email with the decision?
@bluebel57 Go to “Application Status”, there will be a new link that pops up next to “Veiw Credentials” that’ll say “View Decision”. But be warned you haven’t seen anything yet, the anxiety of waiting for the link to show is dwarfed only by the sheer fact that the answer to all your hard work lays just beyond that hyperlink…I didn’t click on it for 20 mind lol. Wish you guys only the best!!
@bluebel57@bluedreamer well actually unless things have changed, when I applied in the fall the “view decision” link never appeared when I was denied. It seems to only ever show it if you get accepted
@historyrepeat wish I would have known that lol. After talking to the Veterans Affair’s official two years ago, he told me to apply with at least 30 credit hours due to my poor high school grades. Seeing how you’ve already meant that mark, I’d say your probably good. Plus look up the stats UofMich loves transfers students. Best of luck!
Congratulations !! I’’ wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing your timeline… my app was “completed” on Sep 16 and still nothing!! just feeling very anxious !! thanks !
how do you guys know the application is marked complete? I contacted admissions through the chat and they said they received everything, but kept telling me to check my WolverineAccess Friends account meanwhile if anything shows up.
@kidinschool I asked admissions through email and they responded saying it has been marked complete. You may have to ask them specifically “has my application been marked complete?” I’m not sure why they would tell you to check Wolverine Access. Mine isn’t marked complete directly on there. There’s only an application date (when they downloaded it from Common App) and a received date for my HS transcript. Good luck! When did you apply?
I would either call or email your admissions rep and ask specifically about if it has been “marked complete”. I know you can have all your material in for awhile before it is actually marked as complete and they don’t even look at your application until its been marked complete. I had all my material in and processed on the 12th of September but my app didn’t get marked as complete until the 31st. I’m still waiting. Just praying I don’t have to wait much longer, especially because at my current school it’s getting close to the day where registration for winter classes starts
I’ve got all my required documents & materials received on September 20th, but I don’t know if there’s a distinction between when it was received and being marked complete- I contacted the admissions office multiple times (on the border line of probably becoming irritating) and they told me all my required materials are there. They did specify though that the decision can take 6-8 weeks and it’s only been 4 weeks since they received all mandatory information; I’ve also seen people get accepted already that have sent in documents around the same time as me. it could just be random or some may need a further reviewing process. It is stressful though! I want to know already because I’ve been checking that site like ten times a day and I want enough time for financial aid and rooming requirements.
But with further observation I’ve come to realize that past admits were all over the place when it comes to being accepted - from October 1st all the way to mid - November, so I guess you just have to have patience and wait it out and deal with the anxiety - maybe try some meditation so you can take your mind off it ; p
@westbfieldLa123 don’t worry! One of the main reasons I started this thread was to ease my anxiety. I’m glad people are talking and putting their stats on here! Congrats to the people who had early decisions… And for those like me waiting, checking 10 times a day for that new link to pop up, hang in there! We’ll get through it together!
@historyrepeat I’m definitely a planner so I can relate to you checking on FA and rooming. I thought I was losing it when I started checking for apartments… This wait is awful!
