University of Michigan - Ann Arbor Winter 2017

@westbfieldLa123 @historyrepeat thanks. the wait is killing me

Only 3 more weeks… hopefully sooner. We can do it!! We’ve waited this long, I guess we can wait longer.

So which college did everyone apply to? I applied to LSA as a transfer.

@jessaw6 I applied to LSA as a junior transfer… I heard u of m likes sophomore and junior transfers the most- so hopefully that has a positive impact on my application.

Did anyone else get a call today saying that their application had been completed?

@bluebel57 I never got a call, but I called them and they say that I was “all set” so I took that as a sign of completion. When was all your documents received?

I called about 2 weeks ago and they had all my stuff. I am applying COE from NJ with a 3.7… I am so anxious to hear back. I submitted my app 9/27. Good luck everyone!

I guess since I tried to reach out to my counselor who is on the road, someone at the main office took my questions instead. All my docs were received towards the end of September.

@bluebel57 That seems bizarre to get a call saying all your materials were in unless maybe you specifically requested one. what school are you applying to? I’ve heard of COE doing some weird things like asking for mid term reports and syllabuses

My son got admitted to LSA last night & he found out from the wolverine access! Good luck everyone.

Just got accepted on wolverine access today!!! Super exciteddd!! Economics major at LSA!

Does anyone know about transfer orientations yet?

If anyone transferring in wants to dorm, my friend has a single room which she’s leaving next semester! I already have plans for an apartment but I can put you in touch with her if you’d like!

@fclclsa Congrats! Was it updated today, or did you just check it today? I didn’t think they updated decisions during weekends.

@LiquidK Thanks!!! Perhaps it was updated yesterday or late on Friday, because i did check on Friday morning and there wasn’t anything yet. Good luck to everyone!

@fclclsa congrats! if you don’t mind me asking what were your stats?

Does anybody have any idea when COE applicants are expected to receive decisions by?

I tried looking through threads from previous years, but the results were pretty inconclusive. I know COE applicants will likely have to wait longer than LSA applicants, but the question is how long? My transfer counselor told me that transfer applicants typically receive their winter 2016 decision by the end of December.

@DivergentScholar I would just go by what your transfer counselor said. They’re the one who would know best really. Waiting till the December does sounds awful though.

I just got into GA Tech for aerospace engineering. Now I am just waiting to hear back from Michigan. I hope they give me some money lol.

I got accepted on 10/28, and I found out on Wolverine Access. So decisions are coming out! Don’t get too nervous.

@Deepstep congrats! if you don’t mind me asking what were your stats and when did you have your materials in?

I’ve got a feeling I will hear back this week. I keep thinking it has gotta be this week, but I probably say that every week.

@Deepstep @historyrepeat Calling BS. U of M does not do rolling admissions. Especially not before the EA deadline. Unless proof can be provided… I wouldn’t trust it. All EA decisions are released pretty much the same day, just saying.

@UofMorMSU U of M is rolling admissions, and there is no ‘EA’ deadline for transfer students.
