@camwow I would say most likely Monday or Tuesday. As others have said, its most likely not priority. When my brother got in his came the next day, but we also live in Richmond, about 20 minutes from campus. I would say aim for Monday or Tuesday! Good luck

@CathJR Then how would you track it if they sent it without tracking? I saw the envelope my D got, it was not marked priority nor was it in a priority envelope. I’m ebay shipper so know how to recognize priority. Also, the xtra cost for the school doesn’t make sense. They’ve made everyone wait this long, they sure aren’t going to add a cost increase for themselves to get it to us a couple of days faster. I’m in their same zone & it took 3-4 days. Each zone adds a day minimum.

@cloudysmom No, the point is you’re not supposed to be able to track it. You can send mail as priority and as the shipper choose to disable tracking. There’s been a whole discussion about it in a USC thread. What I was saying was that if Richmond were to send with priority, even without tracking, it would mean some applicants would receive their decisions tomorrow. Though, as somebody said it took three or four days to receive their decisions so I would believe Richmond does not send it with priority, so it’s not a concern. I was just curious if they did or did not.

@CathJR Ok, I think that was me, no, our envelope didn’t come priority. Perhaps if you live in or around Richmond it would though, at least I would think it would.

@CathJR @cloudysmom my brother was accepted 3 years ago and his envelope was just USPS. No priority mailing. It did come in a flat rate envelope though. We got it the day after admissions were released, but as I said earlier, we live 20 minutes from campus.

It stresses me out so much that I will know if I got in based on the circle on the envelope. I can’t imagine getting the envelope and knowing my fate before I even open it :frowning:

@ollietwist1 While I hope you get in, if you get a regular envelope it is not the end of the world. It could be a waitlist and Richmond does take quite a few people off the waitlist. Don’t be discouraged!

@rvalover7 Yes, that’s what I meant, a flat envelope, 11 x 14 I’d say. @ollietwist1 The size gives it away, not what it says. The large 11 x 14 is a yes, the regular letter size is a no, or I think a WL. If it’s big, it’s good!

Does anyone have any clue when international students will receive their decision?

You can create a MyUSPS account and it will show you if you have any incoming mail and where it’s coming from. Unfortunately you have to answer security questions and I have been locked out 3 times now because they must have incorrect information.

Even if you are able to sign in, how are you able to track incoming mail without a tracking number?
You can only things that have a tracking number. If it is regular mail with no tracking number you are unable to see it.

myUsps let’s you see incoming mail without a tracking number. It just uses your address.

I know this is to late to be saying this, but since Richmond didn’t offer a place to put ur resume on the common app except for the activities section, I emailed them my updated resume but they didn’t respond back. Do you think they added it as part of my application?

@camwow Yeah they probably did. I submitted an additional piece of information before my visit and I asked if they got it when I went. They told me yes its just hard for them to respond to so many people because they receive resumes, statements, etc. on that email. If they had a question they would have emailed you so don’t worry

Hey guys! So i live in Northern NJ, and if the mail was sent out on friday it should be here about monday. However, my school’s naviance changed, and it says 6 have been accepted (before it was 3, for the 3 ED applicants we had). Anyone know if theres a way to find out if thats me before the letter comes? I am freaking out and I love Richmond and I am praying for the best. Thanks guys and good luck

just wondering, why do so many NY/NJ people like UR?

Because it is the best school ever

^ Plus there are way too many talented students coming out of NJ in particular and not enough seats at in-state NJ schools.

ah i see

Does UR superscore ACT?
