Has anyone received an official merit award letter? Unsure how that information comes to us. We got the lowest amount in the original letter but hoping for a bit more with acceptance to honors. Getting down to final decisions so knowing the merit here will help!
I called financial aid yesterday and was told letters would be sent out after 3/15
We received nothing in our acceptance letter, not sure if it was because no scores submitted ??

Ugh on the website it says they will be sent out by 3/15. We are in state and my daughter was accepted EA in Nov and her acceptance said she will get merit but didnât say how much and then she was accepted to Honors in Dec. Itâs hard waiting!

Iâm 99% sure I know the answer to this, but thought maybe someone else knows for sure: If you get the OOS tuition waiver, that is not a âscholarship,â per se, that could be applied toward study abroad costs, is it?

My daughters scholarship amount was more than what was listed in her acceptance letter during EA! Went from at least $40,000 to in-state rate plus !

Now I am eagerly awaiting my daughter getting home from team practice at the gym. She has all but decided that this is where she is going (and has paid the housing) but we are all waiting to see if there is any more than the initial scholarship letter. I am really hoping there is more. I have been crunching numbers and trying to figure out the finances.
Is the scholarship letter posted in portal similar to acceptance letter/update? Is this only for applicants who were notified of an award with their initial acceptance? Anyone who had no mention in their acceptance receive any merit award?

A friend of my daughters had no mention of scholarship in her original letter and was notified today of merit.

My son was a RD admit and his acceptance letter had no mention of merit award but today he was notified he was awarded an out of state tuition waiver and was also given a modest separate scholarship. He was also invited to the Capstone program.

What is the Capstone Scholar Program?
My daughter received a Capstone Scholar invite and her merit was bumped up to about $18K per year. She received two separate emails re Capstone & scholarship $.

Does Capstone acceptance equal more scholarship money potentially ? Already received Superlative so donât want to be greedy but I am curious.
My son also received the Superlative award and he was invited to Capstone. The Capstone invite mentioned that it came with a scholarship so I assume that scholarship is the Superlative one as I didnât see any separate scholarship on his portal.
