I’m feeling a deferral coming for my daughter too, but that drop down list isn’t going to help them make a decision really. Only two items on that list that would seem relevant (to me) is changing major and/or submitting updated test scores. Everything else is basically contact info
Agree. Not even excited/anxious anymore.
That is somewhat hopeful that she still has her drop down menu after being invited to apply to the honor college.
We shall see. People are going to need to add if they still had the drop down when they post results later!
Wait sorry if this was answered already but i don’t see it. If accepted will merit be in the acceptance, if being offered.
Is the drop down menu on the same page as the application checklist where it shows the green checks when your various scores/ scoop report /app fee were received? I see account tools: change password logout in the bottom right corner. Thanks
Yes underneath “connect with your rep”. It says application Change Request and then there is drop down for major….
Thanks for the clarification. Ok. We don’t have the drop down. We’ll see!
So I had to call admissions with question we had totally unrelated to decisions today but since I had them on the phone I decided to probe a little I asked about the drop down and I asked about decisions today. She said drop down doesn’t mean much at this point (I fail to totally beleive that) but she did say they are releasing decisions in waves as to not overload their system so everyone may not get their answer today:woman_shrugging:
No drop down menu here, but my D is very convinced that this will be Clemson 2.0 and that she’ll be deferred.
Hmmm maybe it just means our decision isn’t there yet. I am with you though, it signals something.
Last year, an initial merit was included in the December acceptance.
Wait…Are we thinking drop down being there is a good sign or a bad one? It def means something otherwise with decisions supposedly coming out today it would look uniform throughout for everyone.
We still have it. I think it means deferral because you could change your major before being reevaluated in the Spring. OR if we want to be optimistic it could signal an acceptance and that you are still active in their system.
I like your answer. Makes everyone feel better LOL. Did everyone get the honors college invite? My son received it via snail mail and email a few times? I just assumed everyone gets it. I am thinking it is no indication?
I just tried to log into my daughters admissions portal from 2 years ago to see if that dang
drop down is there lol
Mine too. From earlier posts it sounds like it doesn’t go to everyone.
My daughter was invited to apply to the honors college as well. Her drop down menu is still there!
Is 2:00 considered “late Wednesday afternoon” asking for a friend
Haha- I actually googled it and it says “3-6”. That should not apply to the world of college admissions. 2:00 seems much more reasonable to me!
