@eespos1 I forgot to file the College Board’s PROFILE. It was the first time ever hearing about such thing since none of the other colleges I applied for require it. I really hope theres still money left to meet my family’s financial need and make it possible for me to go to UNC
How are people viewing their Transfer Credit reports? Where does this show up?
They send an email to the address that you used for the common app.
@Pepe_sylvia I’m in the exact same boat. I emailed them asking the same question you did, hopefully they respond soon. I was pretty bummed to see the loans because it seems like I’m a definite candidate for the Covenant.

I didn’t fill out the short answer question “Briefly elaborate on one of your extracurricular activities” that was under activities on Common App. Do you guys think this is the reason i was rejected because i had a “incomplete” app or that i didnt show enough interest in the school to fill out that question. I didnt do it cause i talked about the ec’s in my main essay and figured it was redundant. I appreciate anyones opinion.

@eespos1 I still have like 4 things on my financial aid to do list, so it’ll probably be a couple weeks before I find out

@kyleparker406 I had a couple of friends who didn’t even notice that section, and they were fortunate enough to be accepted. It may be a factor, but I don’t think it’d be the defining factor.
@InfiniteOdds Thanks for the info. Would you mind telling me if they were instate or out of state? I’m a little worried about the other colleges i applied to now since i was rejected to UNC w/ a 3.9, solid ec’s, sat, and rec letters. Maybe my essays werent as good as i thought they were…
@kyleparker406 No problem! They were out of state. Sometimes, it’s really hard to predict how schools make their decisions. I’m sorry you were rejected, but you sound very competitive so hopefully all goes well elsewhere!

Do you guys know if I can appeal my financial aid package? cause I am qualified for the carolina covenant, but there are
still loans in my package.
@TNIU94 that’s what I am going to do tomorrow. Do you have any items in your To Do list? I have a couple missing items in my financial aid, so I think that might be a reason.
@Pepe_sylvia i don’t have any missing documents, it just shows that I need to complete two financial aid tutorials,
and I think everyone has to do this once before the financial aid gets disburse. But have you been got you financial aid package yet?
@TNIU94 I was given an estimate of what my aid would look like. It includes 2700 of work study and 9000 with a combination of Unc loans and subsidized loans. Everything else was covered with an institutional grant and the Pell grant.
@Pepe_sylvia I got the exact same package, and 9k in loans is out of the question. I’m seriously hoping they update the estimate once they process my missing materials, because the Covenant is the only way I can attend.
@InfiniteOdds if they don’t then I think you can appeal your financial aid if you provide proof that you meet all the requirements. Hopefully it works out for both of us.

@Pepe_sylvia @InfiniteOdds I have the exact same package as you guys, but there aren’t any missions documents showing up on my To Do list, so I think we may want to appeal together.
