Sorry evryone whose waiting we know how you feel (those of us whose apps and hours were completed before deadline)We went through the same thing. when decisions started coming out and we hadnt heard anything yet. It sucks but when you get an acceptance the wait will be totally worth it! Keep your spirits up and good luck :)

cherrybomb89- I did go to my UTdirect under orentation review or change, and it will not show me any time or place were to meet. I still cant get threw to addmissions… So weird…

@Melanieblue2- No worries… Im sure admissions is busy dealing with sending out decisions so im not surprised they are unavailable.
This is the orientation website: [University of Texas at Austin - Office of the Dean of Students - New Student Services](http://deanofstudents.utexas.edu/nss/)
and under summer orientation there is a link to this page which can answer most of your questions including when and where to meet and the schedule of events.

I would look under the “Already registered? Get detailed information” link for the schedule.
Let me know if you still need help, oh and btw the number to call for orientation would be 512-471-3304 this is the New Student Services, they can answer any orientation questions you may have. Hope this helps good luck!

Thank you so much cherrybomb89. And to all those waiting, I can feel! Your decitions are coming soon. Hang in there, I know how it feels:)

After 5 months of waiting, I get rejected.

Check my previous posts for my stats.

I got accepted to my first choice today. It feels great guys.

So sorry to hear that AndreB, good luck to you wherever you go.
Congrats phinatic!
and positive thoughts to everyone still waiting.

Hello everyone. For the people that have been waiting for weeks, does the status say that the “Admissions Committee is currently reviewing your application” FOR THE PAST FEW WEEKS?

Also, if someone could please chance me, it’d be great.

Transferring from Lone Star College(Houston) with 3.77GPA
President’s List and member of Phi Theta Kappa.
Great essays with the help of a friend who is a journalist for BBC.

School of choice: COLA(Sociology and Undeclared)

However, the only grey area in my application is that in 2006, I took 3 courses at a county college in NJ and I got 1 C and 2 F(dumbest thing ever that is the only obstacle for me getting in to a good school) and I had to send in that transcript too but I did explain the reason as to why I did so poorly.

Laxplaya…you got it no worries.

Yep. I’ve been waiting for a little over two weeks.

I know of people who got accepted Monday into my school of major and people who got rejected on Wednesday (but accepted into second choice), so if anything I guess I’m just waiting for a rejection notice.

Anyone get into college of natural science?

can someone B1azen’s question? I also applied to the college of natural science and have been waiting for 3 weeks now…

I answered in another post, but I got into natural science through CAP and two of my friends (both with stellar GPAs) have been under review for the past 3 (almost 4) weeks

So if no one got in their decisions yet does that mean we are just waiting for rejections?

Not necessarily. I mean my friend has a 3.9 so I’m sure he’ll get in. I don’t think anyone from natural science has heard yet, beside from CAP people

This waiting is getting a little ridiculous… A&M accepted me over a week ago

If you don’t mind me asking, what major did you apply to and what’s your gpa?

I mind lol but I’ll say my gpa is above 3.5. I really don’t know if I’ll get in or not, but I want to know already

It’s really a toss up at this point, the wait compared to other schools is longer mostly due to the size of the applicant pool. Now it’s not just about GPA, they are taking essays and other factors into consideration. So you can have a super high GPA but if you took easier classes or your essays arent very good they can still deny you. The statistics show some 4.0’s that were denied last year. Good Luck everyone, i really hope the waiting ends soon :)

Where can I find those statistics?
