Be sure to keep looking online. They’ll notify you online first. The minute they make a decision, you’ll know whether or not you got accepted or not. If you are accepted, that will trigger the system to mail you a letter.

Edit : I just looked on mine and it says the same thing yours says. It’s probably the same for everyone who turned in everything on time and complete. Good luck!

I would call to make sure they received your transcript. My transcript came up within a week. Your school might have not sent it out and you don’t want to wait around for something like this.

everyone:
Past transfers didn’t get decisions until mid April. I don’t think the message indicates we’ll be finding out anything real soon. It’s just shows the process has started.

What’s up fellow longhorns.
Will i get into UT Austin with following stats:
GPA: 3.64 with less than 30 hours completed
Applied to Liberal Arts: Undeclared
Second choice: College of natural Sciences - Biology
Question: How much do the essays matter? Cause i wrote pretty good essays just wondering if they matter a lot.

And Good luck to all of you who have applied!

Are your finishing up the last of your 30 hours? The minimum to apply as a transfer is 30 hours. I hear the essays are what can make your app stand out from the rest.

kusumuthram, did you mean this past Wednesday, or this next Wednesday? I am confused by your choice of words. Also, if it is indeed this next Wednesday, I am not sure how reliable that information is; as it is during spring break…

Mine just says “Application and required documents were received on time.” There’s nothing on my page about the Committee reviewing my application… Mine also says “Official transcript needed through Spring 2011.” I’m in the process of completing the second half of my 30 transfer hours at CC and I’ll send that transcript once it’s available. Does this mean I won’t get an answer until I send in my second semester transcript?? D:

I think that one guy up there got admitted as a freshman. He claims he will have 35 credits completed by the end of spring. UT austin won’t admit transfers until they have officially completed more than 30 hours.
