Vanderbilt Class of 2023 EDI Discussion Thread

I heard from my friend who is a student there that so many people have applied and admissions is just getting even more selective with this year’s class. Good luck to everyone!

Ugh… so anxious about decisions!!! Anyone else freaking out?

@yeet909 - yes, I literally check this thread and my online portal every other hours. haahaha

what do you mean? stats?

does anyone know how many people actually apply ED?

@sheryg - I don’t know about this year but according to Vandy’s 2017-18 CDS, 3,592 applied ED and 863 of them were accepted.

Hi! I’m a senior and I applied ED1 to Vandy. I’m so anxious waiting for decisions and I just keep watching about Vandy on Youtube lol

I’m definitely freaking out, like I think about decision day EVERY day

@LoverofReading me too! I had a cry session in front of my mom last night about it

Last year, 20.5% of the 4000 ED applicants were admitted!

Oliviam19 my daughter cried last week too. Then she made me cry. She wants to go to this school so so badly!

Anyone here apply to the Blair School of Music?

Isn’t it crazy that some decisions have already been made? ?

Yes it is crazy.

im so nervous!! what are everyone’s stats

Can anyone with USPS Informed Delivery tell me if they have a package coming from RAPID ENTERPRISES INC/ STAMPS? I think I may be on to something…

A&S applicant (theatre major)— 34 ACT, 8 AP classes, choir president, major roles in multiple theatre productions, volunteered at a Christian camp as a work crew member, awesome essay, solid LOR’s, 3.93/4 GPA, and 98/510 class rank (super competitive public school). I think I have an okay shot, but I’m still super nervous!

Anyone else counting down the days lol?

has anyone called the admissions office to ask when decisions will be released?

1 week!
