It’s sad I have a favorite quote from a waitlist thread, but whatever. Ever since I read that post, I’ve been sitting by my phone at 8 every day.

Congrats (and major jealousy! :)) to all those who have already gotten in! Has anyone from California or someone who applied to SFS gotten in yet?

I got in today! I returned an adcom’s call in the morning stating my intent to stay on the waitlist, and about an hour ago I got an email saying I got in and that I have until the 18th to decide

thanks! he was the rep for NC and called me yesterday actually. he called my house around 4pm but i was away, so he called my cell a bit later, asking if I wanted to stay on the waitlist. he told me to think about it and give him a call the next day, so I called him around 11am

got an email last night asking if i wanted to stay on the waitlist, called this morning at 9 and said yes. got an email 2 hours ago saying i was in!

so now i’m caught between georgetown msb and boston college csom. any advice?

did anyone respond to the email gtown sent out confirming our interest? or make a phone call?
this one:

We are writing to confirm receipt of your desire to remain on our Waiting List. Thank you for your continued interest in Georgetown University.
In the event that spaces become available, the Admissions Committee will meet during the first two weeks of May to consider candidates from the Waiting List. Final decisions will be mailed by May 15.
If your plans have changed and you no longer wish to remain on the Waiting List, please respond to this e-mail as soon as possible so that your name can be removed. This will allow the Admissions Committee to give consideration only to those applicants who are still strongly interested in attending the university.
Thank you again for your continued interest in Georgetown.
