I got in today! They’re making rounds you guys! Good luck! :)

My S got a call today. They are giving him 2 weeks to decide. Good Luck Kids.

Congrats to those who got in, really hope to see you guys there this fall fingers crossed. Do they send out emails as well? Since I’m an international student, I doubt they’ll call if I get in so they would send emails right? Congrats once again!

I am not even going to consider NYU anymore, I have decided to go to Berkeley.

Are any of the waitlisted and then accepted students in here from Tisch? I’m also international, and they are notifying me via email.

wow, ‘clear my mind’ you know you’re really lucky to have the privilege of choosing between NYU and Berkeley. But I’m sure you earned it so all the best in Berkeley! My bro’s over there and he’s having a blast.

hey funktastic_st3, which school at NYU did you apply to? I’m international, too! And i swear, if they do what they did to us waitlisted students the first time around AGAIN (sending all or most of the acceptances and saving the rejections for last) i’ll totally lose it! … well not really, but i’d be sad haha

hey kekekekeke, I applied to Stern, you applied to Tisch right? Wait, I didn’t know they did that! Yea I really hope they don’t do that again because I’m really anxious to know where I’ll be going in August. I hate all this uncertainty, just keeps bugging me. Did you get accepted or waitlisted anywhere else?

I applied to UT Austin and I received CAP acceptance. all of my other schools were safetys and I got into all of them. Today I received an email from Tisch - THEY ACCEPTED ME!!! Best of luck to all of the other wait listed students out there and congrats to the accepted - we made it!

Thanks alot FUNK!

Anyways, due to the economy, students who need less financial aid have a better chance to get in. Although it is blind admissions, the admission officers still can see your financial things. Once you see how much money a student has, it does not go away. They are trying to save money for their own school. So keep that in mind.

Congrats kekekekeke! Damn, I really hope to join you there. Did any of you guys get accepted off the waitlist for Stern? Clear my mind, I definitely agree with you on the financial status issue. The thing is I didn’t apply for any financial aid because my parents told me they could support me so would they still know my financial status? I don’t remember mentioning my parents’ income in my application.

Hey guys,

Do any of you know exactly how much time we have to respond?

I called the admissions and got an intern who said 3 weeks from the time you were notified, but I can’t help but be skeptical.

My S was told 2 weeks. He also requested financial aid information and they said they would send it via mail.

funktastic_st3, did you also appy to Tisch?

He applied to CAS. I am really looking forward to the packet that is to come in the mail particularly finanical aid.

kekekekeke, nah I applied to Stern and guess what? I just got in yesterday!!! The feeling when I saw the email was amazing. To all you guys out there still on the waitlist, just be patient and hope for the best because believe me, if you are successful, it is worth the wait. All the best! I can’t wait to see my acceptance packet!

I was hoping to see the acceptance packet today in Saturday’s mail…ahhh the waiting.

Seeing all these accepted waitlistees is discouraging. I was hoping for something today, but nope =

My chances at Stern are probably gone by now. Bleh, but congratulations to those that did get in! :]

Thanks oranges12 but you shouldn’t give up, you never know whats coming your way. I almost gave up too and was all set to go to UK. Do you have a backup plan?

To those who got in, the offer is unconditional right? The email didn’t say anything about the offer.

do you think that we’ll get decent financial aid? or since they need to save money we’re all going to get very little? And is it possible to bargain with the financial aid office with other packages to see if they’ll match them?
